Hi! I'm requesting fic and art for my Gen Freeform Ex requests. Some fandoms have more detail, but I'm equally excited about everything I'm requesting! I'm looking forward to whatever you make! I'm also open to fic and art treats.

Blanket DNWs: Major Character Death*, Self-harm, Vomit, Food or Medication Allergies, Graphic Eye Injuries, Pregnancy, Genderswaps, Unrequested Gender/Sexuality Headcanons, Animal Abuse, Script Format, Mentions of Covid-19, Human AUs**

DNW that only applies to some fandoms: Modern AUs for Megaranger, Timeranger/Megaranger Crossover, and the FNAF Movie. Megaranger is set in the late 90s and the FNAF movie is set in the early 2000s, while I'm okay with pre- or post-canon, anything set "during canon" should be set in the 90s/00s.

*Mentioning canon deaths is okay, but nobody should die in a gift. Near-deaths are fine. Mick doesn't have to be in a KRW work, but if he is he can't die. Tatsuya inevitably not being alive in 3000 is fine. Garrett (and any other FNAF missing/dead kids) existing as ghosts or spirits is fine.

**Sion, Trip, Kat, Secchan, Mick, and any other canonically nonhuman characters should remain nonhuman. Stacey should remain half-human.

General Likes: Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, Angst with a Happy Ending, Epistolary, Character Study, Pre-Canon/Backstory, N Times/N Things, Cultural differences between species, Holidays and traditions of different planets/species/parallel worlds, Platonic Soulmate AUs, Non-sexual xenobiology, Non-Linear Narratives

Re: Alternate Universe - Soulmates, the requested pairing does not need to be soulmates! It’s fine if they are, but exploring characters who don’t have soulmates or aren’t soulmates but still care for each other deeply is just as interesting as actual soulmates! (Also, should go without saying given the exchange, but if they are I expect them to be Platonic Soulmates.)

Visuals I like: Platonic cuddling/snuggling, close-up/medium shots of characters when possible, Travel posters, Pretty nature (plants, flowers, leaves on the ground...)

Megaranger

Kenta and Kouichirou: You have no idea how enemies to friends they are. Well maybe enemies is a stretch, but they’re completely different types of people and probably didn’t socialize at all pre-canon, unless they were forced together for a group project or Kenta needed a tutor because he was failing all his classes or something.

Chisato and Miku: Literally childhood best friends, could I ask for anything more? Texting, taking pictures together, doing school things or just vibing would be so cute and fun!

Megaranger Additional Tags 5+1 Things, Alternate Universe - Soulmates, Annoying Each Other as a Show of Friendship & Care, Banter - character development through conversation, Being Emotionally Vulnerable with One Another, Character A accidentally infects Character B’s computer with a virus, Character Goes For Long Walk In Pretty Nature; Has A Great Time, Character Unexpectedly Turned Into Child, Characters participate in in-universe fandom, Epistolary, gift giving as a love language, Hurt/Comfort - Comforting from Nightmares, N times something happened and 1 time it didn’t, Non-Linear Narrative, Platonic "I Love Yous", Platonic "there was only one bed" - characters annoy each other through the night, Road Trip, Unexpected Cat Acquisition

Timeranger

Generally, for pairs not involving Tatsuya, setting them at any point in canon (pre, post, or during canon) and time (2000 or 3000s) is fine. For Tatsuya and Ayase, it should probably be set at a time where they can both interact? But I’m sure you can use some of these additional tags to make post-canon about how much they miss each other.

Tatsuya and Ayase: In episode 3, Ayase indicated that he likes old cars and fixing them and whatnot and I think that Tatsuya should like, take him to a car show or something. (In an ideal world Tatsuya would buy Ayase his own car, but idk if he’s that impulsive)

Ayase and Sion: They need more interactions especially because I love them both. Sion never sleeps, so he could stay up and hear Ayase having a nightmare or something and need to comfort him. They could also bond over old (20th-century) cars or something, that could be fun!

Domon and Sion: Child who barely has experience in the world and former pro fighter he looks up to dearly. So sweet. Deserves so much happiness.

Ayase and Domon: They hate each other but also don’t want anything bad to happen to the other person. Them having to work together (because the others got hurt/kidnapped/whatever and they’re the only two left) would be interesting.

Timeranger Additional Tags5+1 Things, Alternate Universe - Soulmates, Annoying Each Other as a Show of Friendship & Care, Banter - character development through conversation, Beware the Quiet Ones, Burnout (emotional or job or other), Character Goes For Long Walk In Pretty Nature; Has A Great Time, Character is comfortable to stim freely in front of friend, Character Unexpectedly Turned Into Child, Characters claiming each other as family without "standard" family roles, Characters participate in in-universe fandom, Epistolary, Friends supporting each other through tough times, gift giving as a love language, Hair Grooming, Hurt/Comfort - Comforting from Nightmares, N times something happened and 1 time it didn’t, Non-Linear Narrative, Platonic "I Love Yous", Platonic "there was only one bed" - characters annoy each other through the night, Platonic Cuddling, Platonic Physical Affection and Tenderness, Power Outage, Touch-starved character flinches from connections, Unexpected Cat Acquisition

Kamen Rider W

Philip and Shotaro: They are Philip and Shotaro. What more do you want me to say? Platonic affection, Philip focusing on research and Shotaro making him take a break to eat/sleep/etc…it’s all good. Also, I headcanon Philip as AroAce.

Philip and Wakana: Pre-canon, during canon, kinda awkwardly post-canon, I’d love to see more of them interacting! Would also be intrigued by them literally running away together.

Mick and Human (Shotaro or Philip or Akiko): Mick is literally a cat and I love him. Give me all the cat affection pls. (The only reason Unexpected Cat Acquisition isn't an additional tag is because they have Mick and that is not an unexpected acquisition)

Kamen Rider W Additional Tags5+1 Things, Alternate Universe - Soulmates, Aromantic Asexual Character, Befriending a cat, Beware the Quiet Ones, Bodyswap, Casual Platonic Intimacy, Character Goes For Long Walk In Pretty Nature; Has A Great Time, Character is comfortable to stim freely in front of friend, Character Unexpectedly Turned Into Child, Characters Meet God; Discover God Is Very Punchable, Characters work together to solve a mystery, Cleanup and paperwork after canon-typical plot, Epistolary, Fun Day Out,  gift giving as a love language,  Hair Grooming, N times something happened and 1 time it didn’t,  Platonic "I Love Yous",  Non-Linear Narrative,  Platonic "there was only one bed" - characters annoy each other through the night, Platonic Cuddling, Platonic Life Partners, Platonic Physical Affection and Tenderness, Platonic soulmates dealing with rumors about their love life, Power Outage, Time Travel - meeting the younger version of yourself, Touch-starved character flinches from connections

Power Rangers SPD

Bridge is such a good character I platonically love him he’s so neurodivergent vibes I love how he talks like y’know how he rambles yeah that’s it.

Boom and Kat: They’ve been working together for…er, a few years? And there’s so much potential for hurt/comfort considering all the stuff Boom tests.

Jack and Z: Always good. They too deserve happiness. And would punch God. Z could clone herself to punch God multiple times, lol.

SPD Additional Tags5+1 Things, Alternate Universe - Soulmates, Aromantic Character, Befriending a cat, Bodyswap, Burnout (emotional or job or other), Character Goes For Long Walk In Pretty Nature; Has A Great Time, Character is comfortable to stim freely in front of friend, Characters claiming each other as family without "standard" family roles, Characters Meet God; Discover God Is Very Punchable, Characters participate in in-universe fandom, Doing Household Chores Together, Epistolary, Exploring Alien City/World,  gift giving as a love language,  Hurt/Comfort – Hurt/sick character still has to get their job done, In-Universe Social Media Posts,  N times something happened and 1 time it didn’t, Non-Linear Narrative,  Platonic "I Love Yous", Platonic "there was only one bed" - characters annoy each other through the night, Power Outage, Scolding, Time Travel - meeting the younger version of yourself, Trapped in Elevator together, Unexpected Cat Acquisition

FNAF Movie

Abby and Mike: Mike doing his best to care for Abby without their parents, Mike struggling in general and trying to pretend everything is fine. Abby knows there's something and trying to do what she can to make Mike's life a little easier (and then proceeding to befriend animatronic ghost kids. But it's the thought that counts, y'know)

Garrett and Mike:
Pre-canon before Garrett got kidnapped, doing normal childhood and/or sibling things. Hype for the camping trip! Garrett being unable to communicate with Mike after he's gone but wishing he could. If he knows about Mike's flashback dreams, what does he think of them?

Abby and Garrett: Siblings that never met! What does Abby know about Garrett (besides "he went missing") and what does she think of him? What does Garrett (as a spirit/ghost) think of Abby?

Mike and Ness | Sparky's Waiter:
Ness has one scene in the movie, but I think he should be in it more. For a place to start with these two, I think Mike could talk to him wanting to learn more about the missing kids, maybe how Sparky's was established and its relation to Freddy's. (Copycat, spin-off that distanced itself, etc.)

Abby and Ness | Sparky's Waiter: I headcanon that Sparky's is probably safer than Freddy's (because it doesn't have like, a history of murder) and could probably have a fandom/more child-friendly activities because it's still actually a place kids go to regularly. Ness doesn't have to give her special treatment or anything, but they could get to know each other as Abby and Mike go to the restaurant more.

FNAF Movie Additional Tags5+1 Things,  Adult or Teenage Character's Childhood Backstory, Age gap friendship, Canon Events From Perspectives Not Given In Canon, Character realizes that their younger siblings have grown up, Characters participate in in-universe fandom, Cleanup and paperwork after canon-typical plot, Epistolary, Father Figures, gift giving as a love language, Hugs, Hurt/Comfort - Comforting from Nightmares, Hurt/Comfort - Downplaying traumatic events and/or injuries, In-Universe Social Media Posts, Loneliness, N times something happened and 1 time it didn’t, Non-Linear Narrative, Platonic "I Love Yous", Power Outage, Prophetic Dreams/Visions, Slow burn friendship, Subtle and considerate gestures of care where overt comfort is inappropriate or can't be offered, Time Travel - Character changes the past to prevent traumatic events and succeeds, Unexpected Cat Acquisition

Rainbow Magic

Kirsty Tate and Rachel Walker: I like childhood friends and fairies. The General Likes are up there. The requested tags are down there. What more do I need to tell you?

Oh actually, aging Rachel and Kirsty up to teens or adults is okay, and they are shippable but by the nature of the exchange I’m not expecting romance.

Rainbow Magic Additional Tags5+1 Things, Alternate Universe - Domestic, Alternate Universe - Soulmates, Being Emotionally Vulnerable with One Another, Best Friends Are Actually The Worst Roommates, Casual Platonic Intimacy, Character A accidentally infects Character B’s computer with a virus, Character Goes For Long Walk In Pretty Nature; Has A Great Time, Character is comfortable to stim freely in front of friend, Characters participate in in-universe fandom, Doing Household Chores Together, Epistolary, Friends supporting each other through tough times, Fun Day Out, gift giving as a love language, In-Universe Social Media Posts, N times something happened and 1 time it didn’t, Platonic "I Love Yous", Platonic Cuddling, Platonic Forehead Kisses, Platonic Life Partners, Platonic Physical Affection and Tenderness, Road Trip, Unexpected Cat Acquisition

Crossover Fandom

In case it’s not obvious…Sion is really fun and easy to make crossovers with. He’s also very sweet and smol. Time travel can be used to easily make crossovers happen.

Sion and Trip: They’re not exactly the same, but they are counterparts and it’d be interesting to see how they react to each other. They have mostly different experiences (probably? We don’t know Trip’s backstory but he never mentions being last of his kind or anything) and though both are aliens they’re obviously different types of aliens, so seeing the similarities and differences between their alien cultures would also intrigue me. Language barrier optional (a universal translator could easily be used to get over that barrier), setting it in 2000-2001 or 3000-3001 are both interesting options, go with whichever you like.

Philip and Sion: What happens when an alien from the future and a guy with access to literally all human knowledge meet? Idk, let’s find out! Sion would be pretty hard to do a lookup about, though maybe not impossible since records of the Timerangers exist (in newspapers and stuff). Philip and Sion are both approximately the same amount of unsocialized nerd (affectionate) and while they might be a bit awkward with each other they’d bond over common interests (technology, superheroes, maybe Philip can be going through a ninja hyperfixation as Sion also likes ninjas…)

Sion and Any Megaranger: 5/6 of the Megarangers like computers and what they consider futuristic technology. 1/6 of the Megarangers are Date Kenta. I think Sion, who is from the future and knows how to work late 90s/early 00s tech, would fascinate them. (And possibly intimidate/scare Kenta.)

Crossover Additional Tags5+1 Things, Alternate Universe - Soulmates, Aromantic Character, Awkward and Unconventional Gestures of Friendship, Character A accidentally infects Character B’s computer with a virus, Chance Meetings, Character Goes For Long Walk In Pretty Nature; Has A Great Time, Character is comfortable to stim freely in front of friend, Characters Teaching Each Other New Skills, Crossover - characters with similar experiences from different fandoms talk about it, Epistolary, First time a character with very rare interest or talent meets another character who shares it, gift giving as a love language, Knowing you were friends only after they're gone, N times something happened and 1 time it didn’t, Platonic "I Love Yous", Platonic Hero Worship, Power Outage

Zenkaiger

I split this into two requests because they're different vibes. One is for Stacey and His Mother and Yatsude and Stacey, the other is for Kaito and Stacey, Kaito and Secchan, and Flint and Stacey. Some tags apply to both requests, others I wanted to split more specifically.

Stacey and His Mom: He misses her so much <3. Pre-canon where they can interact or during/post-canon where she's no longer around is fine!

Yatsude and Stacey: She reminds him of his mom <3. She makes him a better person through the power of friendship and found family vibes. (Also, Stacey being cursed to tell the truth and telling Yacchan "you remind me of my mom" even if he doesn't say anything else about the Tojitendo or anything would be so intriguing!)

Kaito and Stacey: They are the most enemies to friends! Even if Stacey doesn't want to be! Kaito can absolutely provide all (or very much of) the friendship Stacey's missed out on for the last...how old is Stacey? That long. Lol. Oh, and for "Characters meet themselves from an alternate universe" using the Donbrothers versions of Kaito and Stacey are fine!

Kaito and Secchan: I think canon forgets that Kaito was 10 when his parents went missing. And though he had Secchan and Yacchan, Secchan couldn't say anything besides bird sounds until 2021. He can still be friends with Kaito! The dynamic is just different, y'know? Kaito would've treated him differently if he found out that Secchan was like, alive, when he was like 10-11.

Flint and Stacey: You know when you see two characters that almost never interact but you KNOW they would be friends? God didn't make Stacey and Flint interact more or else Stacey would've turned good earlier. However, God did give both Stacey and Flint guns for some reason. (They don't have to shoot God, but God's immortal, so...) Also, these two being found family and Stacey basically joining the Goldtweaker family would be cool.

Note: The tag for Adult Character's Childhood Backstory can apply to Stacey, but is also intriguing for Stacey's mom or Yatsude talking about their backstories!

Hi! Welcome to the world of tokusatsu. I have picked out 5 things (4 shows and 1 movie) that are beginner-friendly and also I like/would be happy to receive a gift for. The Japanese shows I picked are legally subbed in English, at least in some regions. Shout TV is region-locked to North America, so I'll provide some links to other sites as well.

Note: This is a letter for a gift exchange called "Let Me Introduce You to My Fandom" ([community profile] let_me_introduce_you) but also these are some good show recs for anyone wanting to get into toku in general! For the shows, 5 episodes are about 2 hours, and for your assignment I just expect you to watch episodes 1-5 (Except SPD- see that fandom section because I'm biased and want to make sure you meet my fave). Ork is a movie that's 45 minutes long. Ultra Q episodes are 25 minutes long and very standalone, I've linked my faves.

Regarding the use of archive warnings, I put Graphic Depictions of Violence on Zero-One because episodes 1 and 6 both have a warning for violence on RiderWiki (along with other episodes, of course). It feels hard to determine what counts as graphic violence in this genre, so I selected choose not to warn. And I put Major Character Death on Ork because the main plot is about deaths and revivals. But all of the shows I’ve listed have at least some amount of death, even if it’s just implied.

Ultra Q
Ultra Q is extremely episodic. I have seen the first 14 episodes and will be recommending/linking to my faves, but you can also watch the show in order, or just watch one episode, or whatever. The only ones I’ve seen that have any continuity with each other are episodes 5 and 14. As of April 1 (reveals) I’ll have definitely seen episodes 15-18. Episodes are 25 minutes long. It's also in black and white and full of practical effects because CGI didn't exist yet <3 simpler times.

The Full show is on
 Shout TV here

My personal favourite episodes (though they're all good) are:
Episode 2 (Goro and Goro),
Episode 6
(Grow Up! Little Turtle)
Episode 7 (S.O.S. Mount Fuji)
Episode 9 (Baron Spider).

You can also find episodes on YouTube, including Episode 1 (Defeat Gomess!), Episode 6 (Grow Up! Little Turtle), a clip of Episode 2 (Goro and Goro), and a clip of Episode 5 (Pegulia is Here!).
The YouTube videos have English subtitles on the videos directly, not using the YouTube subtitle feature. (All YouTube links provided are legal uploads).

Content Warnings: Eh, it's from 1966 and was considered family-friendly/for all ages back then. Pluto TV rates it PG. (Note:
I know some of these shows are also on Pluto TV but only in the USA so I can't access it.) Baron Spider obviously has a giant (giant!) spider monster. I can't think of any major archive warnings besides like, sometimes near-death or implied death.

You can also find this show on sites like tokuzilla and tokuzl, though this link has the show in colour (this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's still the same show). Tokuzilla isn't working for me right now, but tokuzl is basically the same thing. (psst, this applies to everything. Except Ork, but that doesn't have region locks.)

Mirai Sentai Timeranger
This show is available on Shout TV, but I don’t know any legal way to watch it besides that. However, I did say legally…slightly less legally, it's on the Internet Archive here. Don't worry about that link having only 50 episodes (Shout has 51), episode 51 is a clipshow anniversary special. It's a cute special, but not required viewing for this exchange or the show in general.

Content Warnings: Genre-typical violence, (plenty of gun violence), but no major injuries or blood in the first 6 episodes. There is minor character death as a part of Yuuri’s backstory (in episode 5), and Ayase’s medical condition (explained in episode 10) is certainly concerning but I promise he doesn’t die. Content warnings for the rest of the show will be in the letter. There is also a major character death in the show itself, but it's not for a character who debuts early on. I'll put that under the spoiler warning.

Timeranger-specific content warnings (contains spoilers)- Yuuri’s family, including a little sister, is killed by the main villain, not too graphic but it is onscreen. This is a focus of episode 5 but doesn’t come up too much outside of that.

- Ayase my beloved has a fictional medical condition that occasionally causes what is canonically stated at one point as arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). It does come up pretty consistently in his focus episodes. Episodes 39-40 are specifically about the possibility of death.

- Episode 39-40 also has. Uh. Mentions of pandemics and vaccines and the like? Obviously it’s not covid but like. It is definitely about an epidemic.

- TimeFire, the sixth ranger, debuts in episode 27. He is a permanent Major Character Death.

- It doesn’t come up in the first few episodes, but Gien’s backstory. Uh, TV Tropes calls him a "Psychopathic Manchild", I think I’ll just leave it at that. His TV Tropes section has spoilers marked.

Power Rangers S.P.D.
This show is officially available for free on YouTube. The first few episodes are spent setting up the world and characters. It’s fun. My fave here is Bridge, his first focus episode is episode 6. Therefore, I’m only assigning you episodes 1, 2, and 6. Feel free to watch the episodes in between, or the entire show if you want, but I’m being biased and making sure that you meet my fave. (And the show is in Episodic Character Study Mode so it’s not like you’re missing anything.)

Content Warnings: Jack and Z are homeless and join SPD because the options are either join SPD or be arrested. Idk I feel like that probably squicks someone out. Besides that, Genre-typical violence (with guns, but they replaced the bullets with lasers so it’s appropriate for kids. No, they actually did that.)

Kamen Rider Zero-One
The full show is legally available and subbed on Shout TV!

The first 2 episodes are also free on YouTube with official subtitles in English on episode 2, but not episode 1 for some reason (but it used to be?). (Not region-locked to my knowledge.)

You can also find it fansubbed on the internet archive here. If you use this playlist, you only need to watch the episodes titled like "Zero-One - 01", not the anime or movies or anything else. You can still watch them, but they're not required. Episode 35.5 is canon. I haven't seen the Others movies (01hers) and don't want the events of them in my gift.

Content WarningsGenre-typical violence (plenty of gun violence and Kamen Riders fighting each other), Temporary Character Death (Can humagears die permanently if they can be replaced with an identical model?), Gai Amatsu canonically emotionally/mentally abuses people, Implied/Referenced Death in backstories…I selected the Graphic Depictions of Violence warning for this show in particular because it has many instances of warnings for graphic violence, gun violence, etc. on RiderWiki, including episodes 1 and 6. (Episode 1 and 6 just say it’s for gun violence, but later episodes have other warnings. Click the arrow)

RiderWiki is not an official source but these episodes have content warnings on their pages, mostly for gun violence but sometimes for blood or death or other things. You can see these warnings by viewing the wiki on the desktop site.Episodes
1: Gun violence
6: Gun violence
11: Gun violence and attempted murder

30: Gun violence
37: Violence and nudity

Movies

Reiwa The First Generation: Gun violence, blood, and murder
REALxTIME: Blood, gun violence, nudity
Zero-One Others: Metsuboujinrai: Blood, gun violence, and murder

Specials*: President Special, Shooting Special, and Super Work War all feature: Gun violence, graphic violence, and blood
*Zero-One was affected by Covid, causing some recap specials to be hastily made. This also affects the pacing of the final arc, because they lost 5 episodes. They're not required viewing of the show in general except episode 35.5, which doesn't have warnings

Ork (2023)
This movie is 45 minutes long, and available for free on YouTube with subtitles in multiple languages, including English. It is an indie tokusatsu (as in, not made by Toei or a similar giant company) and was filmed entirely using an iPhone! It's about a high school student named Takumi getting a stone from a character called The Witch. The rock gives him vision of his friend Nozomi dying. Of course Takumi becomes Ork to stop that vision from happening, but their teacher Ryo Domon has a similar stone and wants to revive his wife. The rocks give them the ability to change into frog-like creatures called Ork (yellow) and Gowm (red). Guys fighting in order to save the girls they care about ensues.

Ork is a standalone movie and can be watched on its own. But if you want, there are two videos called 'witch story' that expand the backstory of the Witch (Warning for child abuse). They’re a total of 17:18, but I don’t want to require that you watch them and the movie can still be watched and understood without them. They consist of drawn pictures with voiceover (not animated, exactly- I'm not an artist, I don't know the words) and are less than 10 minutes each. If you're looking at the YouTube channel and are wondering what Ork's Room and Ork's Diary are, I haven't seen them and don't want the events of them in my gift.

Content Warnings: Genre-typical violence, plenty of Death- Temporary, permanent, implied, onscreen, of major characters, of minor characters…also includes a brief suicide attempt of a minor character at the start (about 1:30-2:25, not graphic). Child abuse is also specifically in witch story.
27twinsister: Four even segments. The upper-left is blank, the upper-right has the AO3 Gen relationships icon, the bottom-left has a !? like the AO3 Choose Not to Warn icon, and the bottom-right has a red no icon. (Default)
Dear Creator,

I hope this letter finds you well and isn’t actually unsent (lol). A lot of prompts when I was coming up with ideas were more on the idea of them being unsent (or the recipient never actually seeing them), but they don’t have to be!

I typically DNW Script Format. Here, it’s allowed in epistolary sections. I’m requesting diary/journal entries for everyone, because I want to see their thoughts on things that they probably intentionally keep secret lol. Letters/Emails/Audio or Video Messages are next, and texting/social media for a few. I can always use more epistolary fics! (Especially chatfics for Megaranger. Get these 90s teenagers into a chatroom, as long as it’s not full of 2010s-20s humour/memes/slang I’ll like it. Early Internet humour/memes/slang encouraged.) For the Object & Concept Anthro prompts…use whatever epistolary format works. I clearly have bias but I’m very curious for that request.

Blanket DNWs: Major Character Death*, Smut, Graphic Blood/Injury, Pregnancy, Genderswap, Script Format outside of epistolary sections, Mentions of Covid-19, Unrequested Romantic Relationships, Unrequested Gender/Sexuality Headcanons, Animal Abuse, Human AUs

*Mentioning canon deaths/near-deaths is okay, but nobody should die in a gift

General Likes: Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, Angst with a Happy Ending, Pre-Canon/Backstory, N Times/N Things, Soulmate AUs (platonic, or romantic if I requested a ship romantically), Character Studies

Kamen Rider OOO

Hino Eiji & Any

Formats: Journals and Diaries, Letters/Emails/Audio or Video Message Transcripts, Texts and Social Media

Imagine me thinking about Eiji travelling and going "well he must send postcards and letters and use texting/social media all the time to keep in touch with people" and then me going "and then leading up to the events of OOO 10th he stops sending stuff and no one can get in touch with him-"

(If you hate OOO 10th that’s fair, but I’m telling you that you do not need to ignore the events of OOO 10th if you wanna make post-canon.)

And generally, I think Eiji has met a lot of people and been to a lot of places, and could easily have a lot of things he wants to write about, whether he shares them with other people or not.

Timeranger

Asami Tatsuya & None, Asami Tatsuya & Any, Sion & None, Domon/Honami Moriyama, Asami Tatsuya & Ayase

Formats: Journals and Diaries, Letters/Emails/Audio or Video Message Transcripts

Tatsuya must have a lot of thoughts he wants to write about. In pre-canon it could be about fights with his father and how he doesn’t wanna take over the company, during canon it could be anything as far as I’m concerned- people from 1000 years in the future are living with him and he has to keep that secret! But at least he could tell a journal, right? And post-canon, he probably thinks about them a lot/comes up with a lot of things he would want to say.

For Tatsuya & Ayase in particular, I rewatched the first few episodes recently and episode 2 lives rent free in my mind, especially Tatsuya asking what his future is like and Domon going "History doesn't record such minor details" and then Tatsuya later saying "You can't change the future, but you can still change your tomorrow" and that resonating with Ayase. Like, if Tatsuya is remembered for only one thing, it'll be Ayase remembering that moment (and maybe making the quote famous by sharing it online in the post-canon 31st century or something)

For Sion: He has internet access and literally doesn’t need to sleep except for once a year! In the year 2000 he probably doesn’t have/want social media, but he could absolutely spend his time on the internet, whether it’s learning things or talking to people (cautious to not reveal the "I’m an alien from the future" thing) or making his own website and posting basically whatever he wants on it!

For Domon/Honami: They literally fall in love via email. Like, that's canon. What do they talk about in their emails? How often do they chat?
How romantic/flirty are they? (Note: Canonically, Domon uses Sion's email, but messages are written/sent by Domon)

Zyuohger

Karazaki Kageyuki & Karazaki Yamato

Formats: Journals and Diaries, Letters/Emails/Audio or Video Message Transcripts

Mmm angst. Yamato, like Tatsuya, probably has a lot of thoughts about his father that he probably can’t say out loud but can write about in his journal. And if he doesn’t, he’s into nature and animals, so he could write about like, a bird he saw that day or something. (Could also be funny to see both in one entry: "Dear Journal, I hate my Dad and don’t wanna live with him anymore. Also I went on a walk today and saw a bird, it was a- (insert rambling about birds)")

Alternatively, Yamato thinking about reaching out/reconnecting with his dad as he gets older but never actually doing so because it’s awkward/he’s nervous/his dad won’t respond anyway so what’s the point would be interesting.

Note: If you wanna watch Only The Parts With Yamato’s Dad, he’s mentioned in episodes 2, 9, and 16, and appears in episodes 42, 45-47, and the finale.

Megaranger

Date Kenta & Endou Kouichirou & Imamura Miku & Jougasaki Chisato & Namaki Shun, Date Kenta & Any, Date Kenta & None, Imamura Miku/Jougasaki Chisato

Formats: Journals and Diaries, Letters/Emails/Audio or Video Message Transcripts, Texts and Social Media

Megaranger really should have more epistolary fics involving The Internet and perhaps Email (and in general). Kenta doesn’t know how to use a computer so him either refusing to make an email/social media or attempting to use one (maybe someone else’s?) would be great.

I’m always interested in people’s journals/diaries. Whether they write about school and normal teenager stuff, or Megaranger and superhero-specific stuff. For Chisato/Miku in particular, writing about crushes in their diaries/keeping secrets or writing romantic love notes and whatnot to each other are both good!

Rainbow Magic

Kirsty Tate & Rachel Walker, Kirsty Tate/Rachel Walker

Formats: Journals and Diaries, Letters/Emails/Audio or Video Messages, Texts and Social Media

These two always visit each other in person but what about the in-between when they’re away from each other? Keeping in touch via letters, texting, social media etc. could be interesting. Also, writing in diaries about the fairies!

Object and Concept Anthropomorphism

Ink/Paper/Quill (Anthropomorphic), Computer Keyboard & Typewriter (Anthropomorphic) Homework Assignment/Pen with Red Ink (Anthropomorphic), Paper/Typewriter (Anthropomorphic), Diary/Pencil (Anthropomorphic)

Formats: Any

I thought of this and then I couldn’t stop laughing. The intimacy between a diary and the pencil that’s being used to write in it. The fear a homework assignment feels when it realizes it’s going to be graded by a teacher using red pen. The OT3 of Ink/Paper/Quill and how times change and how quills are no longer used but paper is (generally) and ink is (in printers). A computer keyboard trying to communicate via email (because it’s y’know, part of a computer and people probably write emails on it all the time) but the typewriter cannot receive the message because it doesn’t have that technology ("kids these days and their newfangled technology" but it’s a typewriter talking about keyboards and the existence of computers)

Thank you very much for writing for me! I’m excited to see what you make!

Hi creator! I promise if you look at just an individual section for a specific pairing/fandom this letter isn't that long. We are both here to hurt and comfort characters at my request (the only &None request is Shotaro, Kamen Rider W). I am okay with any combination of requested additional tag+characters, but because there's so many, I figured I'd narrow down my top 5 for each pairing requested. If you want to use a different tag from that request, feel free! But these are to give like, more specific ideas for each pair because there are so many additional tags. Freeforms are listed in alphabetical order under the details tags.

Hurt Either means you can choose who's hurt, but I want just one hurt in the gift. Hurt Both means both can be hurt in the same gift. And if you’re wondering, I do accept treats.

Blanket DNWs: Major Character Death*, Self-harm, Suicide, Smut, Vomit, Food or Medication Allergies**, Graphic Eye Injuries, Pregnancy, Genderswaps, Unrequested Romantic Relationships, Unrequested Gender/Sexuality Headcanons, Animal Abuse, Script Format, Human AUs***

*Mentioning canon deaths is okay, but nobody should die in a gift. Near-deaths are fine. Takeru (KR Ghost) being a ghost is fine.

**The Food Allergy DNW is waived if I requested the freeform tag Food Poisoning. Otherwise it applies. The medication/drug allergy DNW still applies.

***Barbie being a human post-canon is fine, that's like the main point of that request. Bodyswaps between human and nonhuman characters (like Zero-One and Timeranger) are fine, but nonhumans like Sion and Izu shouldn't be regular humans outside of that.

General Likes: Characters already being hurt/sick, Bittersweet/Hopeful/Possibly Even Happy endings, Epistolary, N Times/N Things*, Soulmate AUs (platonic, or romantic for requested romantic pairs), Character Studies

*N Times Character A Protected Character B+1 Time They Didn’t, N Times Character A Got Hurt and B Comforted Them, etc. there’s so much potential here specifically. N can equal 5 but doesn’t have to!

Barbie Movie
Relationships: Margot Robbie's Barbie/Gloria (hurt Barbie), Kate McKinnon's Barbie & Margot Robbie's Barbie (hurt Margot Robbie's Barbie), Margot Robbie's Barbie & Sasha (hurt Barbie), Margot Robbie's Barbie & Sasha (hurt Sasha)

I headcanon...probably all barbies/kens as asexual, but the focus of this request is on Margot Robbie's Barbie (Stereotypical Barbie). And do Barbies…feel pain? Like, as dolls when people play with them? (New Body Horror prompt, lol. Still, exploring that is interesting.)

Timeranger
Relationships: Tatsuya & Ayase (hurt Ayase), Tatsuya & Sion (hurt either), Ayase & Sion (hurt Ayase or both)

For this show, there were some tags that I selected specifically envisioning Ayase being hurt/sick, and a few different ones selected for Sion being hurt/sick. Sion is canonically nonhuman and Ayase canonically has a medical condition that he explains to Tatsuya in episode 10. You don't have to make Ayase's pain/illness come from his condition specifically, but it can be a bit more angst to put on top of the hurt/comfort. We don't know that Sion has medical-related PTSD, but he was raised in a lab so it's an educated guess.

Kamen Rider W
Relationships: Shotaro &/ Philip (hurt either), Shotaro & None

The Shotaro&None is for ideas set probably between episodes 48 and 49. There is a whole year in there! Referencing canon deaths is okay, but I don't want anyone to die in the gift. I'm fine with Philip and Shotaro’s relationship being interpreted as romantic or platonic, but I headcanon both characters as asexual (Philip as aroace and Shotaro as alloace).

Kamen Rider Zero-One
Relationships: Fuwa & Naki (hurt either), Aruto & Izu (hurt either)

Regarding Fuwa & Naki & where this is set in canon, I'm fine with them sharing Fuwa's body or being separate. Naki is canonically genderless and uses they/them pronouns. Regarding Izu and...uh, the show's ending, I like Izu to not basically die (you can also just set it during canon and not worry about that.) I also haven't seen the V-cinema movies and don't plan to, so please don't include the events of them in my gift.

Nim's Island
Relationships: Jack & Nim (hurt either or both), Alexandra & Nim (hurt Nim or both)

You ever think about the million ways you can be hurt on a secret island? Same. "Alex" in this request only refers to Alexandra Rover the author, not Alex Rover the book character. Them being pen pals and Nim thinking she's talking to the fictional character is cute though.

Kamen Rider Ghost

Relationships: Kanon & Takeru, Makoto & Takeru, Takeru & Akari (hurt Takeru for all)

Something about how ghosts don't need food/Takeru doesn't need to eat and how much he misses it...yeah. Which person is comforting Takeru is slightly less important than the fact that Takeru is hurt, though I did nominate characters I like. Takeru being a ghost is absolutely fine, but he shouldn't permanently die/go onto the afterlife (permanent revival would be unexpected, but is also fine!)

Power Rangers Dino Charge
Koda & Kendall (hurt either) James & Tyler (hurt Tyler)

Tyler can be a child (pre-canon) or an adult. As long as he gets comfort either way. Koda and Kendall are really interesting, most of my ideas came from thinking about pre-canon or early on in canon.
