Hello Creator, welcome to my letter for Hurt/Comfort Exchange 2025! There are a lot of additional tags on each request so I put them under details tags to hide them unless you open the relevant section. I do prefer comfort unless otherwise specified. There are multiple fandoms repeated in the requests but only 4 fandoms overall.

Merrily We Roll Along

I put this all in one request so you are allowed to mix and match as you please, though for some freeforms that I think fit one person being hurt more I've put it under different detail tags.

I also think Merrily with time travel would be very interesting, especially for Frank and Charley, however it plays out. Past Charley and Frank have no idea what the future holds and their future selves wouldn't want to ruin their relationship in 1950s-60s. If Past Charley and Frank went to the future (70s-80s) they would not leave until their future selves at least attempt to reconnect.

The Art of Murder
This show is fun! The characters are canonically drawings come to life if that affects how you think they would get injured/recover (I would call that xenobiology but that feels like the wrong word? Like, they're drawings of humans...)

I vaguely know each of the medias the characters are based off of. I like Sousuke having a language barrier with everyone else (clearly he can understand English but they can't understand Japanese) and I like the idea of small child Winn both having to comfort and being comforted. Albie feels like she would be very intense when her friends get hurt, especially Winn because she's a child.

Last but certainly not least, holy shit that's a lot of freeform tags. There are only 3 relationships though, so pick whoever you want to hurt/comfort and read their sections.

Hayate & Koki: I think Koki comforting/taking care of someone would be very funny. I also think Hayate would keep going and insist he's fine when he's not.

Agata & Shion: Shion is a little guy and can tell that something is wrong and Agata doesn't want to scare Shion because he's a little guy. (Note: technically Shion's not a child but either aging him down to a small child or going "17's a child deal with it" are both fair) Also, Agata canonically secretly smokes, this can be used to effect his health.

Haruma & Saigo: Saigo is not good at realizing he's hurt/sick but Haruma is good at taking care of him and cares about him a lot.

Hurt Hayate

Kaito & Stacey: I feel like Kaito must send Stacey letters/emails/messages all the time, even if Stacey doesn't consider him a friend (yes, even during canon. Kaito just needs to acquire Stacey's contact info somehow). I think Stacey would see/receive his contact, though if he replies and what happens next is up to you.

Flint & Stacey: What? They should interact more! I think whoever first reaches out would start relatively professional/formal and then over time they would be more casual and send memes to each other and stuff. The work should still have a plot, but like, the tone doesn't have to be strict, you know?

Tribe Nine

Sui & Tsuki & Yo: Childhood friends! Oh, but one went missing...oh, then I guess his friends couldn't contact him for 2 years...and Tsuki had Yo's phone for at least part of that time, so she could see any messages/notifications for him if she looked.

So yeah. I'm most interested in Sui and Tsuki's attempts to contact Yo while he's missing, and Yo having no idea about it/being unable to reply (Lady Goddess probably hid their messages or something). Yo also doesn't remember Sui and Tsuki when he meets them for the first time in-game but like, did he make any attempt to contact them when he first got to the village? Though they probably didn't receive them.

I have finished chapter 2 of the story and have seen the anime, so if you want to write something set during canon don't worry about spoilers. I'm using this channel to rewatch the story. They're currently on chapter 1 and seem to be posting every two days. (You can definitely watch someone else play it, or do so yourself, but this one has no commentary, minimal gameplay, and videos are imo a manageable length.)

Kuuga

The final episode of Kuuga makes me want to explode because what do you mean nobody knows where Godai is? Like obviously he's fine and he's just travelling but does anyone try to contact him? Does he ever try to contact anyone? Once early social media/texting/email exists and becomes more common does it make keeping in contact with him easier or harder? (Godai Yuusuke, sign up for MySpace or whatever)

Minori and Ichijou were selected because I like them most and didn't want to do &Any, but no preference between the two of them. Alternatively, Godai might just be living his best life, keeping a casual diary or posting occasionally on social media.

Merrily We Roll Along

For the record, post-canon is fine, but making an AU where the main play is set in more modern times (2000s-present) isn't. That is an interesting concept, but not something I want in a gift right now.

Mary & Charley & Frank, Charley & Frank: How are things with them? I think in 1957 they would all write to each other a lot (and call, and see each other in person) but as time goes on they would be busier (and have less time to do so) and also might not want to as much, particularly between Charley & Frank. I hope they still send Christmas cards and happy birthday cards anyway, even if they don't talk much otherwise.

Frank & Frank Jr: So like, does Frankie talk to his dad after the divorce? Does he ignore all attempts of contact? Does Frank make any attempts to contact him (or is he too busy with work or whatever to spend time connecting with his son)? I feel like there's a lot of potential angst here and Frankie Jr. isn't in the show enough, especially not when he's older.

Mary & None: She's a writer! She writes things! Let's see some of her writing! (books/articles/things for the public, a private journal/diary, or both. Is her writing style different for both?) These can be about her thoughts on other characters and events (especially for a journal/diary) but should be written by Mary.

The only romance (and smut, if you find a way to make it work) I'm requesting is the Broom and Rake in the Swiffer commercial. Otherwise, blanket DNW on Smut and Romance as I haven't suggested any pairings for them.

I'm not DNW-ing smut for this fandom but I also have no idea what it would look like, if you figure out a way to depict sex between a broom and a rake (or masturbation/horniness) then go right ahead lol.

I remember seeing this commercial in particular on TV a lot and it's so funny. It's been randomly coming to mind lately and I think it's funny and cute. How long has Rake been in the garage waiting for someone? How did they set up that date (literally, they don't have arms, how are they having that dinner date)? Are they soulmates? What kind of soulmate indicators do they have if they're still inanimate objects? Feel free to depict only one of them in pre-canon/pre-relationship with things like Rake waiting for someone and Broom doing work as a broom.

In terms of genders, keeping them gender-neutral (using they/them or it/its pronouns) makes the most sense to me, but if you do gender them, make Broom male (he/him) and Rake female (she/her) because that's what the commercial does.

Concerned Children's Advertisers "House Hippo" PSA Commercial

I am a simple Canadian with simple needs. This PSA gives a lot of information about house hippos, but it's only a minute long and was made over 20 years ago, I'm sure there's more information out there now. Do house hippos avoid humans and other animals on purpose? Do they have their own house hippos societies living in the walls of Canadian houses? Has a house hippo ever somehow ended up at a zoo and met a hippo there? How would that go?

I'm sure house hippos have breeding/mating rituals but I'd rather that not be the focus of the story.

Why is there a camel working in an office? Does he have an actual job there? What was it like when he first showed up and got excited on Wednesday? Has he always liked Wednesdays? Or does every company just have a camel and that's just how this world works?

Crackle is my favourite Rice Krispies mascot in general so he's the only one I selected but of course Snap and Pop are allowed too.

I'm mostly interested in the in-universe competition aspect of this. How did the competition go? Did Snap, Crackle, and Pop take it seriously/are they competitive about it? Did they write the songs (in-universe) or did someone else write them and they're just performing? Crackle usually won because Rainbow is obviously the best, would that effect his ego? (I couldn't find many commercials announcing who won but I found 2 that said Rainbow, pick whatever makes the best narrative for other seasons.)

In-universe documents live in my head rent free, if you can't tell. Generally, for all requests, I like letters/emails, journals/diaries/private notes, and newspapers. I’m also interested in maps/layouts of places and advertisements. I also included other tags for a few requests, if there’s anything I particularly want to see for a specific fandom (like the room layouts/designs of Ride Kamens and Juuru’s sketchbook for Kiramager). But if something is covered by a broader opt-in tag, I’m interested in it!

Fandom-specific medium opt-ins (as in tags not on every request) will also have a prompt with them under a section called "Ideas for opt-ins" because that means I saw that tag and had an idea related to the fandom/characters. You can write about the other tags too, or a different idea about the same medium like any optional details, but it’s a place to start.

For music: I love music and musicals! My favourite musicals are Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella, The Little Mermaid (1989 movie or Broadway musical) and Tick Tick Boom (it's like Rent but makes me sadder) if that gives any indication of my music taste. I also like the character songs of the Sentais I've requested, and opening/ending songs of the shows I've requested. Ride Kamens' ost is good too!

For poetry: I opted into every nominated format because I don't necessarily know all of them but I would find them all cool! I like poems because they have to be creative with how they have a limited number of words/syllables/lines/whatever the rules are to tell a story or convey emotion. I do this thing where I create poetry based on episodes of tv shows, it's difficult but fun lol. If you do something like that (not for a whole show lol, but like a specific episode or arc or as a character study or something) I'd also find it very cool.

For art/visuals in general, I'll just steal what I usually say that I like close-up/medium shots of characters when possible, and my favourite colour is purple but I know a lot of my requested characters are associated with specific colours so if you think that makes more sense/works better that's great!

For illustrated text/typographic design, I look forward to whatever cool font or layout you want to use (though DNW eyestrain- different fonts are cool but keep your colour combinations compatible). For in-universe stuff especially I like seeing that different characters have different writing styles (some people are messy, some write big and some don't, etc.)

And for writing in general, I'm cool with whatever cool stuff you wanna make, in any POV, tense, etc.

I like Philip and Shotaro equally (lies). But I do really like their relationship <3 they’re partners and can’t imagine life without each other even after the short time they’ve known each other in the show.

For Philip and Wakana (and optionally Saeko), pre-canon or awkwardly-during-canon is nice :) post-canon probably doesn’t work unless you get into some heavy canon divergence. That said, I’m always curious about what would happen if Philip and Wakana decided to actually run away together. Perhaps they can get their happy ending after all (and Shotaro’s will end in angst. But if it’s happy for the siblings, like, that’s still a happy ending.)

I like how Philip is when he gets invested in really random things, relevant to the case or not. (Also: if you need an excuse to write an essay/article about something: this is it.)

Balance & Naga: I love their dynamic and how much they care about each other :) I like that their character song is a duet. And how even when Naga doesn’t understand/is still learning emotions he wants Balance to be happy and be friends with him.

Kotaro & Stinger: First of all, I love how they’re such found family and Stinger goes from being a tsundere to really caring for this kid. Second of all, sorry if this makes you feel old, Kotaro is 20 now. Like, he’s an adult. What would Stinger think seeing Kotaro growing up so fast? Or would he consider it fast or slow compared to how his species ages? Tying into the worldbuilding requests a bit, are there any traditions or practices of Stinger’s species that happen when you reach a certain age/become an adult/have a birthday in general?

And yes, birthdays and holidays and worldbuilding. How do you celebrate things in space? When there are 12 people? Who are all from different planets and presumably have their own traditions? How do you celebrate the new year? *When* do you celebrate the new year, especially if all these planets have years of different lengths!

Hikari & Kagura: I like how they work together in…the kendama episode I forget the number of. I like how even though they’re different levels of maturity they still work together and have fun.

Kagura/Mio: Childhood best friends to lovers <3 they’re so sweet and cute and deserve to go on dates and sleepovers and be affectionate.

Mio/Tokatti: Tokatti has a really obvious crush. At least during canon, Mio doesn’t necessarily reciprocate yet/is figuring that out. But it’s nice seeing them be childhood friends to lovers and perhaps end up dating.

Like I said in my optional details, I’m fine with both Kagura/Mio and Mio/Tokatti in the same work, at separate times or as consensual polyamory. I’m also fine with them just being crushes/pre-relationship.

Akira & Any ToQger: I’m not crying you’re crying. I miss Akira and the rainbow line and everything. I hope he’s doing well and that the ToQgers still have strong imaginations and don’t forget him.

Solo: Kagura: I love all the ToQgers equally but especially Kagura she’s so sweet and creative. Like I said earlier I like her working with Hikari. I also really like the episode where they make a movie and Kagura is the director, she’s so funny.

Juuru and Kakihara: First of all, Kakihara deserved to be in more than like, what, four episodes? But also, those four episodes are wonderful. I do think she and Juuru should try dating, even if it doesn’t last.

Juuru & Mashin Fire: A good partnership that hopefully is still going, with Fire supporting Juuru as he grows up and finishes high school and maybe even gets a job or something (whether that’s art as a job or something else).

Speaking of which, give me all of Juuru’s art! Whether that’s sketches like he did in the show or completely new things!

And for worldbuilding, I’m interested in Crystalia holidays and traditions. We know they canonically have Crystas, which is basically "Thanksgiving but in December" and that’s fun but what about more! How old are the KiramaStones? How old is considered Old to them? How do they celebrate birthdays, if they do? Do they have any other holidays and how do they celebrate them? Whether they’re based on Earth holidays or are something new I’d be excited to learn about them!

There are a lot of relationships so bear with me.

Agata & Uryu: They were roommates for two years and presumably got along. What were those two years like? What was it like having Kyosuke and Narushi presumably across/down the hall? Uryu probably has his own room now, does he miss sharing a room?

Taiten & Uryu: Whatever’s going on here. Yeah. It’s sus but very intriguing and I would like to see more of it. Why is Taiten so weird?

Agent & Leon: Leon is so sweet and cares for Noa so much :) Noa should do nice things for Leon too. They should go on an elaborate vacation or something. They definitely have the money for it.

Shion & Jo: Shion is the most pure little guy I care for him so much and Jo is so sneaky and lies a lot. Would Shion be able to see through Jo’s lies/just generally tell his vibes are off, and what would he do about it?

Shion & Koki: Shion is the sweetest little guy and also knows how to cook and Koki is a professional chef and I think they should cook together. Koki works at the Wisdom lounge so obviously makes a lot of drinks and really likes meat (a very normal amount) but he could also appreciate some good pasta with Shion. Plus I like how their vibes are so different.

Hayate & Jo & Koki & Soun: Wisdom Thinks is a cool group and I wanna see more of their dynamics. A typical day at the lounge, or Hayate lowkey forcing them to hang out outside of work or something. (Maybe force is the wrong word, but like, they probably don’t hang out much outside of work otherwise).

Q & Lance: I like their dynamic. I like having them communicate asynchronously, typically via notes/journals. I like Q pranking Lance and asking other people to tell him about his reaction. I like Lance being a detective and trying to figure out what Q did and hopefully not fall for the pranks.

Q & Lance & Libal: First of all, Libal probably doesn’t treat Lance and Q very great as people. Second of all, they (at least Q & Libal) have worked together in the past, how was that? Why did they stop working together?

Worldbuilding: About the Kamen Cafe, about the Rider Academy, about how people’s memories get manipulated and whatnot…

Welcome to my letter for If I Fits I Fics, an exchange about cats! For clarity, for the most part when I say "cats" I am referring to domestic housecats, with the exception of Gekiranger. Characters canonically have animal motifs in Gekiranger, so depicting them as Big Cats like Jan as a tiger would also be appropriate. Depicting the Gekirangers as little kitties is also good. In all requests I am interested in cats, not cat-people.

Re: my usual "Animal Abuse" DNW and the fact that these characters canonically fight: Cats fighting cats (or canon-typical monsters- garugarus, dopants, etc.) is fine, and so is them getting hurt in these battles as long as they get care/recover. Humans injuring cats (or other animals) is still a DNW, and graphic bleeding/injuries is a DNW.

In terms of art style, I'd prefer cats to be realistic colours (ie not pink or green or whatnot) but otherwise I'm fine with any art style/level of detail.

My favourite colour is purple but as a lot of these requests are toku (and precure is basically honorary toku), if the character(s) I requested is associated with a specific colour and you're like "that would be better than purple" then that's great too! I'm also interested in seeing art/things that canon characters make, whether they canonically have artistic talent or not. (Yes this is copied from another letter, yes it's still true when they're cats. Put their paws in cement, it'll be cute)

I am not requesting romance between humans and cats, but have requested some background romances between humans when freeforms fit. I still expect the cat (or the cat's pov of their relationship) to be the focus.

Wonderful Precure

Yes, the tags are different in each request. I tried to split it according to things that made sense as a group/pair/solo, but you are allowed to pick like, Canon Events from Cat's Perspective and focus on what she thinks of Mayu or of Daifuku & Komugi, meanwhile you are allowed to pick If it fits I sits and make it about just Yuki. (But imagine: a cat AND dog AND bunny doing if I fits I sits) Mix and match Wonderful Precure tags, basically, just as long as Yuki is involved. Some tags in the third request are about Cat & Dog and don't mention Bunny, I'd still like Daifuku to be included (maybe for like "cat is terrified of dog; dog just wants to be friends" it can be that but also "cat is not friends with bunny but doesn't have a problem with them"

I'm not interested in the animal characters in human form, it's not like you can't mention them ever but I'd rather focus on them as animals rather than as Precures or at school. Speaking of humans, you can involve other humans (Mayu's parents, Iroha, Satoru, Iroha's parents, etc) if you want.

I am keeping up with Wonderful Precure as it airs and I'm fine if your gift isn't 100% canon compliant in the long run, as this show will still be ongoing in September.

I’m only requesting fic for this exchange and would like some comfort/care for the sick characters unless they were also requested as an individual/solo character (Jeramie, Takeru, Ayase. Arguably Lance&Q but even if there isn't another person there I think they would try to take care of their body).

Instead of going over every relationship I’m going to be rambling about what I think the individual character would be like while sick, if I picked some specific freeforms with them in mind, etc.

**Jeramie and Stacey should remain half-human. Ijirude should remain nonhuman. Humagears and buddyroids should remain humagears and buddyroids. Whether Takeru is a ghost depends on when the story is set, but I'm fine with him not being a ghost. Imagins should remain imagins, though of course they can possess their humans. Gosei Angels don't have that many differences from humans, but they're still not exactly regular humans.

Sick!Philip, Sick!Shoutarou

Philip and Shotaro as platonic or romantic partners is fine, though I'm not interested in sex for this exchange. In some scenarios it probably works better if only one is sick, but I'm open to both being sick in the same work as well.

For this exchange, I'm also interested in if sharing a body while transformed into W could cause both of them to get sick if only one was sick before battle.

Sick!Philip: Has Philip ever been sick before? Like, as a kid probably, but he mainly just lived in the lab, so he probably hasn’t been sick in a while before 2009. Shotaro would be very protective and worried about him but trying to act cool/calm/hard-boiled about it. Philip would probably be disappointed he has to rest and isn’t allowed to look up his symptoms in the Gaia Library (idk what the Gaia Library would say, but you know how when you go on WedMD or whatever and it’s like "yeah you’re dead" when you have a cold? No Gaia Library while sick unless it’s urgent.)

Sick!Shotaro: Shotaro is stubborn and would absolutely try to keep working/fighting unless he physically couldn’t. Philip has probably never taken care of a sick person before and though he might hypothetically know what to do (because again, the Gaia Library has a lot of info), it might not be applicable to Shotaro’s situation/Philip might not be good at it. Shotaro would do his best to recover, though.

Regarding the "A is a bad cook" freeform, Shotaro’s maybe better? Unless Philip has a hyperfixation on soup or something. Works for either character trying to cook, in my opinion.

Sick!Jeramie: He is 2000+ years old he has definitely had to deal with every sickness pretty much on his own. Though he is also half-Bugnarok, so maybe he’s immune/not as affected by some things (or more affected, idk. Angst.) I don’t think he would complain much unless things were really bad. Also I picked out the symptom "Lost Voice" and the sneezing scenario in part because Jeramie trying to do his opening narration with either basically no voice or constant sneezing would be very funny to me.

Sick!Rita: First of all, Rita would definitely try to keep going despite sickness/pretend everything is fine until they can’t. Second of all, they live in Gokkan. How easy do you think it is to get a cold? Do you think Rita’s usual outfit is warm enough to actually stay outside in Gokkan for a decent amount of time and not get hypothermia? (This is a sickfic exchange, so maybe you can guess the answer)

Sick!Takeru: I said this in my request on AO3, but yeah, if he’s a ghost and sick what’s the worst thing that will happen? He can’t die. Eternal suffering (or at least being sad until his tummy feels better, which feels like the same thing)? Getting sick after coming back to life because Takeru forgot how to eat healthy or he ate too much junk because he hasn’t been able to eat anything in like 6 months is good too.

This request is slightly different than the others because I'm interested in like, if Takeru didn't really eat when he was a ghost, would he forget to eat regularly/healthily after getting revived? So I'm interested in eating disorder-type content for this fandom despite DNWing it for other fandoms. There are also some tags requested that are not inherently about eating disorders if that's not your thing.

Sick!Aruto: He could easily have some kind of travel plans (for work, for a comedy show, won a trip to a resort or something and really wants to go) and Izu goes with him. Aruto would also probably try to make jokes/have fun despite being sick.

Sick!Fuwa: Would never admit that he’s sick. But Naki has shared a body with him and could probably tell if he’s actually in pain or feeling worse than he says he is. Or if it’s set while they’re still sharing a body, Naki could try to make sure Fuwa is resting and that he doesn’t make his condition worse.

For Agri & Moune, both can be sick in the same gift if you choose. For Alata & Sick!Hyde I'd rather Hyde be the only one sick. Gosei Angels aren't human, at least not entirely, and I think that's interesting.

Sick!Agri: Moune is basically an adult (17) and able to take care of herself AND her brother when they get hurt/sick. Though Agri is bigger and older than her so Moune probably has less experience taking care of him and would struggle to carry him. Point is, Moune would want to take care of her brother if he was sick.

Sick!Moune: Agri cares so much about his sister, including wanting her to get better when she's sick. Would absolutely be protective and prioritize her, especially in the wilderness or situations with limited resources.

Sick!Hyde: All tags are fine for everyone, but the "never brings up illness because they assume others don't care" was added with Hyde's trauma about Magis in mind. He needs someone to make sure he's doing well since he no longer has a partner and Alata is sunshine-y and would absolutely help him.

Also, general musing about the wilderness tag, do Goseigers, like, know how to recognize things that are safe to eat (like mushrooms and stuff)? Is the information in Earth guidebooks regarding safety and first aid and stuff the same as a Gosei Angel would learn on Gosei World? Does that make sense?

With their Buddyroids, I think it's just nice when the buddyroids care for their humans, even when it's not a big deal and is just a cold or needing rest. I don't think buddyroids can get sick in the same way as humans? Like they aren't perfect, but still. For Sick!Hiromu & Rika and Ryuuji & Sick!Yoko, I prefer only the requested sick character be sick, but for Hiromu & Yoko I'm fine with just one or both being sick.

Regarding Weak Points, I don't know if they can technically count as filling the symptoms prompts on their own but I am interested in seeing them. Also, Ryuuji does canonically hide his weak point from Yoko for 13 years, but idk if he managed to never overheat the entire time, y'know? There was also an episode (28) where Hiromu had to hide his weak point because the enemies were trying to figure it out and take advantage.

Sick!Hiromu: Besides the trauma from like, (insert the plot of Go-Busters), Hiromu also has a fear of like, actual chickens (and cartoon/drawings, etc.) Like that happened regardless of the everything else. Would he still freeze up that much if he didn't have a weak point? Also, do Hiromu and Rika (his sister) talk about like, their parents, usually? What are father's day/mother's day/birthdays/etc. like, are they significant or do they try to treat them like any other day?

Sick!Ryuuji: He would be so stubborn pretending he's fine unless he literally couldn't (too weak to do anything, exhausted, passing out etc.) He wouldn't admit anything was wrong. I think it's nice that Gorisaki cares so much for him despite Ryuuji being almost an adult (15) when they meet.

Sick!Yoko: She is baby. She is always baby (Go-Busters was 12 years ago, she's literally in her 20s AND older than me but she's still baby). And I think Usada and Ryuuji and maybe Hiromu (teasing her) treating her like a child when she's sick or injured would be funny. And either way, Yoko would probably take advantage of "oh no I'm sick and tired I can't get up (I want to stay on the couch and watch tv and not do homework)" if there was something she wanted to avoid doing. Pre-canon with actual baby/small child Yoko would also be nice, though make sure to give her comfort.

Regardless of who he was with, Stacey would probably not complain unless things got really bad/concerning in his opinion. Yes there are extra symptoms added to this request to describing Osiris Syndrome, though you don't have to focus on that and just make it unrelated fainting or whatnot. There are also some that have nothing to do with Osiris Syndrome. I know Osiris Syndrome is canonically a terminal illness so I'm not DNWing it for this request. Still, I'd rather nobody die in a gift.

Sick!Ayase: He is doing his best while dying slowly. How did he, like, get into the Time Police anyway? He failed his physical exam at racing, did the police not have something like that or did he just not have any physical symptoms during the test? Are past (2000) hospitals different from future (3000) hospitals? Obviously the exact treatments and stuff are different, but like...there's a generation gap between my mom who covers her mouth with her hand when she coughs and me who coughs into my elbow instead. I imagine any differences over a 1000-year gap would make Ayase and the others from the future even more appalled at whatever Tatsuya does/treats as normal. Maybe soup is actually not good for a sore throat, at least compared to whatever basically-instant cure they have in the future.

For this request, I'd rather Airi not be sick in the gift, though mentioning her canon amnesia/trauma is fine. I'd also like Airi to notice a difference between Ryotaro and Ryuutaros (and other imagins) but not 100% know about the imagins and Den-O.

There's also the idea I mentioned in similar requests, in this case it's "if Ryotaro gets sick, do the imagins also get sick/how does that effect the DenLiner" but as Airi can't really interact with the DenLiner you don't have to focus on it. Focusing on the very similar question with Deneb and Yuuto is fine though.

Sick!Ryotato:...he's Ryotaro. He gets hurt and sick easily, faints sometimes, in an early episode mentions he's anaemic...and that's without the fact that having four imagins is tough on his body. Making something set at any point of canon where Airi has to take care of Ryotaro while he's sick just sounds like canon tbh.

Sick!Ryuutaros: He's probably never been sick before? Can imagins get sick when they're just sand? Well either way, Ryuutaros now has Airi to take care of him if he's sick and he's childish and totally would fake sick/remain sick for attention if Ryotaro and the others didn't stop him.

Sick!Yuuto: Deneb would care so much about Yuuto if he got sick and Yuuto would be like "pls leave me alone I'm fine (isn't fine)". Yuuto should be cared for! And complain about he's an adult and doesn't need Deneb taking care of him (but he secretly appreciates him a lot)

As both characters are sick (by sharing a body, and because that’s the tag being requested), getting a third character like Rui or Shizuru to take care of them is fine. I prefer only the requested sick characters (Lance&Q) to be sick. I expect both to be sick in the same gift, though they could have different symptoms (after all, canonically only Lance is allergic to cats, or at least they don't make Q sneeze)

Also I don’t expect the Agent to be in the work, but if they are I prefer them to be named Noa (the default name) and use they/them pronouns.

Sick!Lance & Sick!Q: Lance and Q are my faves because W is my fave show, but in this exchange that is somewhat bad for them, lol. These two share a body always, so it makes sense they get sick together. But still, they could be sick from different things (Lance has a cat allergy that Q doesn't) and could act differently while sick, like Q complaining a lot and Lance only complaining/worrying if it's really bad/doesn't go away on its own. I also kind of wonder about like, them getting sick from eating too much candy and Lance blaming Q (because of course Q would) but secretly Lance also ate a lot of candy/didn't take care of himself. Too much pizza can also be bad for you.

Luka: Episode 27 of Gokaiger is the best bodyswap episode of Sentai, I don't make the rules. (Kiramager's is pretty cute too.) I liked that Luka got an opportunity to explore her identity while in Doc's body and enjoyed it a lot. I headcanon Luka as genderqueer and using he/she/they pronouns with no preference.

Navi: Quick, what are Navi's pronouns? Now explain your answer (you don't have to). Okay but actually the first time I watched Gokaiger (2014~?) I didn't notice anything about Navi's pronouns/gender until going to the wiki (which says she has female programming). So like, what is gender to a space pirate robot bird anyway? Like, is preferred pronouns and gender a concept Navi is aware of? Any pronouns allowed for Navi, including it/its and neopronouns.

Ahim/Luka: I don't mind the Gokaiger OT6 but this is perhaps my fave sub-pairing. I already mentioned my headcanons for Luka, so let's talk about Ahim. Ahim is a princess and is what we consider feminine. She is also not from Earth, as none of the Gokaigers are except for Gai. So like, what is gender to a space pirate princess anyway? Ahim does seem to like presenting feminine, but does her planet (Famille) have the same labels as Earth? Does their society have more genders as Earth or is it a binary too? I also headcanon Ahim as using Ae/aer/aers pronouns in addition to she/her. I also headcanon Ahim as aspec (both aro- and ace-spec) and would be interested in seeing how Famille (planet/society) handles committed relationships, including that between a princess and a commoner/non-royal.

I'm also interested in xenobiology, including genitalia, but would rather not get porn without plot in this exchange.

Rainbow Magic

Rachel/Kirsty: The childhood friends to lovers wlw. Aging them up to teens or adults okay. Exploring them as soulmates, aspec or not, would be cute and nice for my aspec heart.

You may notice that in addition to my usual Rachel/Kirsty, I also nominated Sunny the Yellow Fairy (I'm Canadian and grew up with the names Sunny and Inky, not a strict DNW but I do prefer those names). Basically, Sunny is my fave and I make my faves queer. In this case I think it's mostly about gender presentation and labels. Because like, there are *checks Wiki* 2 boy fairies! Good for them. But like, in a world where mostly everyone is female, if someone identifies as nonbinary but is still fem-presenting, like, would they come out? Would it be worth the stress, basically? Coming out is hard, even to sisters who support you no matter what.

(Soulmates in fairy society also sounds adorable. Platonic soulmates between sisters is okay, romantic soulmates between different types of fairies ie a Rainbow Fairy and Weather Fairy ok. Could fairy wands or wings or those sorts of things be used as soulmate indicators??)

Kyuranger

Balance: Insert what I did earlier for Navi. How does a robot determine their gender, if at all? And sexuality- Balance doesn't have to be asexual or use labels at all, but I would like his and Naga's relationship to be nonsexual.

Naga: In a society where everyone looks the same and nobody has emotions, do they have...like, labels for gender and sexuality? Would that be useful? Sexual attraction and crushes probably don't exist for most people, so experiencing any attraction would be inherently queer.

Stinger: Is scorpion. Do scorpions have gender? Wikipedia says they have 2 sexes. But like, do they have gender?* Does the Sasori system have a gender binary or anything? Does Stinger adhere to his society's binary (or whatever) or not care? I don't have any particular headcanon besides him being aspec and want him to be happy at the end of the day.

*You don't have to make something accurate to scorpions if you don't want to.

Gotchard

Zukyumpire: My androgynous queer chemmy with a harem how are you like this? Does Zukyumpire know what any of those words even mean? Does it matter? Do chemmies have gender? Does Zukyumpire, being more humanoid in appearance, have gender preferences even if other chemmies don't?? (Also, the movie is subbed and I’ve seen it now, and X Wizard can also talk. Including them is fine too!)

Kajiki: Wants to be Juliet in the school play (knowing Hotaro is Romeo). Deserves to at least read a scene for fun. I don't know if I have any specific headcanons for Kajiki besides he is a teenager figuring things out. He also deserves to be an alchemist/at least regain his memories.

Kajiki & Sabimaru: They deserve to be friends! I already said my thoughts on Kajiki, and Sabi's a little older than him and could at least be there to listen to Kajiki. Not that Hotaro and the others can't be either, but I think Sabimaru's a little better at keeping secrets than Hotaro, and don't want Kajiki outed accidentally. I headcanon Sabimaru as having feelings for Renge, making him aspec and have feelings for her is fine.

Zenkaiger

Stacey: I headcanon Stacey as genderqueer because just like...as a half-human half-kikainoid, Stacey doesn't really fit into either gender species' gender/label system, does he? Like, he's inherently genderqueer by existing, even if he uses other pronouns. (Neopronouns are cool btw.) In terms of sexuality, I headcanon him as aroace but am fine with him being in committed relationships, as long as they're not sexually active with each other. (Consensual/informed polyamory okay).

Kaito: I don't headcanon Kaito as asexual because of the episode where he falls in love with an ice cream cone, but that certainly helps. I headcanon Kaito as alloromantic and acespec, and am interested in seeing how he navigates his relationships with other people, romantic or not. I very much DNW shipping Humans/Kikainoids, but shipping with Zox, Stacey, and selfcest with Donbros!Kaito are very interesting if you want Kaito to be in a relationship. (And ice cream. Ice cream is always good, why would anyone not love it? Lol)

Zenkai Red: Rewatched the Zenkai Red special recently and realized I miss him. What is his name (besides Zenkai Red)? What is his world like (either "what is your view of the Zenkaigers" or "literally what parallel world are you from" work). What is his identity beyond being Zenkai Red?

Kaito/Stacey: Queerplatonic partners! Kaito showing Stacey the love and affection he deserves.

Yatsude & Stacey: Yatsude is the nicest ever and would want Stacey to be comfortable in his identity. Stacey would be scared to come out to her (I mean, he literally is, because he goes by Satoshi around her and all that. And that's great, but now make him queer and have to come out about that.)

Ricky & Cutanner: Twins! Who are shapeshifters! How does SDtopia gender work? Do Ricky and Cutanner want to present differently as they get older, or are they fine with matching outfits and their current gender presentation?

Goldtweaker family: Let me just take that Rainbow Magic request and: Coming out is hard, even to ~~sisters~~ siblings who support you no matter what. Okay but this time it's any of them. All of them. Some headcanons I have are: Flint as lesbian, Zox as queer (using that label specifically) and gnc, and Ricky as trans.

Zero-One

Fuwa & Naki: Naki being a genderless AI in the mind of a guy who hasn't realized he's aspec because he's never heard of that before and has only been attracted to girls if anything. Fuwa being a guy who somehow has Am I gay quizzes showing up on his phone for no reason because the AI who shares a body with him looked up sexualities. Something somehow clicking.

Ai-chan & Naki: I thought of this while nominating and think it sounds great. What kind of conversations would they have? Probably about things like hopes and dreams, identity, perhaps some about how Humans Are Weird. Ai-chan is only a voice, with a feminine voice because that's how it was programmed. Does Ai-chan have thoughts...I was going to say on like, how people refer to her and preferred pronouns, but actually, does Ai-chan have thoughts?

Wizard

Haruto wears rings on the third finger of his left hand he's literally aspec. (Side note, an ace ring is on the right hand and aro is on the left, so by that he's specifically aro whenever he transforms. But aroace is cool too). He also likes plain sugar donuts more than people. He's so relatable, I love him platonically.

Flashman

Nobody here has seen Flashman but you should. And you should know that in Flashman society (at least in the Flash system where the main characters were raised) aromantic is the default/assumed orientation, even if nobody uses that word. Sara specifically wants to date someone (not anyone in particular, just "dating looks fun!") and is embarrassed about it. Watch episode 39 for more details. It hasn't aged perfectly (in episode 39, Jin says Sara wanting to date means she's "becoming more like a normal Earth girl") but he geniunely supports her and I find that nice. And Sara should try to date someone, even though it's probably not the other Flashmen, since they aren't interested. (Sex isn't really addressed in the episode, and I'd rather it not be addressed in a gift).

Colorful Love

Meguru is canonically gender-nonconforming and I love that for him. I've been requesting this fandom a lot lately, let's see...

Meguru: I like him being able to present how he wants and being cute and androgynous. He's so sweet and nice.

Wako/Meguru: So cute and in love and should destroy gender roles together. Unrelated note, in smut I'd prefer Wako as the domme in any dom/sub scenario.

Kira & Meguru: What was it like when they met? Has Meguru influenced/changed Kira's style over time at all? Mentions of their crushes (Wako and Asahi) are fine but if you go with this I'd rather the focus be on their relationship rather than their romances.

Taikan Yohou | My Personal Weatherman

Segasaki: So like, obviously he keeps his sexual behaviour private, but like, what about his sexuality in general? He's just a weatherman, but he is popular (since he's hot), what happens if strangers see him and Yoh in public together? Is it known that Segasaki is in a relationship at all, even if people assume he's with a girl?

Segasaki/Yoh: Yoh obviously likes Segasaki. But he also draws a lot of F/M romance. So it would be natural for Segasaki to assume that Yoh also likes girls (bi/pan/etc) and try presenting more feminine in private to see if Yoh likes him more, even if Segasaki is confidently male/masc. BWould Yoh like Segasaki more if Segasaki acted/dressed like a girl? Probably not, but these two have no idea how to talk to each other about these things! So maybe Segasaki would assume that and try presenting feminine even if that makes him uncomfortable. (Maybe he likes it, maybe not. Maybe this concept is OOC, but I like the idea.)

In regards to the omegaverse, I don't really care whether the requested characters are alphas or omegas, and though I am fine with any omegaverse dynamic I'm more interested in Alpha/Alpha, Omega/Omega, or exploring how betas fit into that society.

Tsubasa & Urara and Houka & Tsubasa: when you’re all middle children and you and one sister are so introverted that when you’re alone together it’s silence and your other sister is so extroverted she makes up for both of you. I am interested in Tsubasa’s dynamics with his sisters, either Houka or Urara. I think he and Urara would have secrets that only they know about and that Houka would be very kind and fun and good but also Tsubasa wouldn’t trust her to keep a secret ever. In school it would probably be convenient, though- no need to go up and meet new people when you can just get your sisters to do that for you (and Makito, but like. Tatsuya & Yuuri: The vibes addressed above are great but also just like, Yuuri not liking Tatsuya at first/only letting him become a Timeranger for that one activation and not wanting him to be more involved and like how their relationship changes over the course of the show…honestly I don’t really see the romance until the other characters start teasing Tatsuya about how he should confess. Ritsu & Shuji: Ritsu has memories of his family and stuff that doesn’t involve Fumiya (presumably including stuff that happened in their adult life), so what if Ritsu ever talked to Shuji about Fumiya? Like, telling him that they’re dating and stuff. Fumiya/Ritsu’s relationship deteriorated over time pre-canon, and I could see Ritsu complaining to his brother when asked how their relationship is. Would Ritsu remember conversations about Fumiya, or only vaguely, or think it was about someone else…like, he clearly doesn’t know he dated Fumiya but like, does he remember ever complaining about his very platonic roommate to his brother?

Solo Ritsu…first of all I love him. I love that he’s an artist and he’s easygoing and that he just goes along with things as long as possible until Fumiya realizes Ritsu has amnesia. Getting his internal monologue/understanding of canon is always intriguing, especially since he literally fails to realize that Fumiya is obviously more than just a roommate. (Ritsu, my beloved. Maybe it’s recency bias, maybe Meguru is just good with kids and gives off good vibes, maybe it’s because he can do magic tricks. Whatever it is, they like him and he likes spending time there. (And while he’s there, expanding the Megurun Fairy Lore would be fun- telling stories about his adventures in Fairyland, bringing in small trinkets pretending they’re magic/enchanted items, just making things fun for the kids.)

Kira & Meguru Soma: They have been working together for ???? with Meguru as a stylist/personal assistant to Kira. What was it like when they met? Kira can be pretty intimidating. What was Kira’s previous style like, has Meguru managed to expand his horizons? Kira clearly cares for Meguru as a coworker (and perhaps actual friends) when Meguru goes missing and trusts his advice for love, even if he doesn’t know how to actually use it.

Solo: Meguru Soma: If it’s not obvious, I love this boy. He’s so sweet and cute and deserves to dress however he wants.

Solo: Kira: He is so extra I love him! What is Kira’s perspective of the world (which clearly revolves around him)? Was he always like this, even before modelling/fame?

Regarding Goo and gender headcanons, I'm fine with Goo being referred to with he/him pronouns, but I also headcanon them as using they/them and neopronouns (after all, xe's not human, so why go by solely human/Earth pronouns?)

I'm not into romance/smut between Goo and Daishi and am not requesting them as such, but cultural and biological differences between them is interesting! And I'm fine with misunderstandings, like Goo getting flowers for Daishi as a friend/to be nice and Daishi thinking Goo meant it romantically, though they didn't. (TL;DR platonic affection being mistaken for romantic, but stays platonic is cool)

In case it’s not obvious…Sion is really fun and easy to make crossovers with. He’s also very sweet and smol. Time travel can be used to easily make crossovers happen.

Sion and Trip: They’re not exactly the same, but they are counterparts and it’d be interesting to see how they react to each other. They have mostly different experiences (probably? We don’t know Trip’s backstory but he never mentions being last of his kind or anything) and though both are aliens they’re obviously different types of aliens, so seeing the similarities and differences between their alien cultures would also intrigue me. Language barrier optional (a universal translator could easily be used to get over that barrier), setting it in 2000-2001 or 3000-3001 are both interesting options, go with whichever you like.

Philip and Sion: What happens when an alien from the future and a guy with access to literally all human knowledge meet? Idk, let’s find out! Sion would be pretty hard to do a lookup about, though maybe not impossible since records of the Timerangers exist (in newspapers and stuff). Philip and Sion are both approximately the same amount of unsocialized nerd (affectionate) and while they might be a bit awkward with each other they’d bond over common interests (technology, superheroes, maybe Philip can be going through a ninja hyperfixation as Sion also likes ninjas…)

Sion and Any Megaranger: 5/6 of the Megarangers like computers and what they consider futuristic technology. 1/6 of the Megarangers are Date Kenta. I think Sion, who is from the future and knows how to work late 90s/early 00s tech, would fascinate them. (And possibly intimidate/scare Kenta.)

Kaito and Secchan: I think canon forgets that Kaito was 10 when his parents went missing. And though he had Secchan and Yacchan, Secchan couldn't say anything besides bird sounds until 2021. He can still be friends with Kaito! The dynamic is just different, y'know? Kaito would've treated him differently if he found out that Secchan was like, alive, when he was like 10-11.

Flint and Stacey: You know when you see two characters that almost never interact but you KNOW they would be friends? God didn't make Stacey and Flint interact more or else Stacey would've turned good earlier. However, God did give both Stacey and Flint guns for some reason. (They don't have to shoot God, but God's immortal, so...) Also, these two being found family and Stacey basically joining the Goldtweaker family would be cool.

Hi! Welcome to the world of tokusatsu. I have picked out 5 things (4 shows and 1 movie) that are beginner-friendly and also I like/would be happy to receive a gift for. The Japanese shows I picked are legally subbed in English, at least in some regions. Shout TV is region-locked to North America, so I'll provide some links to other sites as well.

Note: This is a letter for a gift exchange called "Let Me Introduce You to My Fandom" (

let_me_introduce_you) but also these are some good show recs for anyone wanting to get into toku in general! For the shows, 5 episodes are about 2 hours, and for your assignment I just expect you to watch episodes 1-5 (Except SPD- see that fandom section because I'm biased and want to make sure you meet my fave). Ork is a movie that's 45 minutes long. Ultra Q episodes are 25 minutes long and very standalone, I've linked my faves.

Regarding the use of archive warnings, I put Graphic Depictions of Violence on Zero-One because episodes 1 and 6 both have a warning for violence on RiderWiki (along with other episodes, of course). It feels hard to determine what counts as graphic violence in this genre, so I selected choose not to warn. And I put Major Character Death on Ork because the main plot is about deaths and revivals. But all of the shows I’ve listed have at least some amount of death, even if it’s just implied.

Ultra Q

Ultra Q is extremely episodic. I have seen the first 14 episodes and will be recommending/linking to my faves, but you can also watch the show in order, or just watch one episode, or whatever. The only ones I’ve seen that have any continuity with each other are episodes 5 and 14. As of April 1 (reveals) I’ll have definitely seen episodes 15-18. Episodes are 25 minutes long. It's also in black and white and full of practical effects because CGI didn't exist yet <3 simpler times.

Content Warnings: Eh, it's from 1966 and was considered family-friendly/for all ages back then. Pluto TV rates it PG. (Note: I know some of these shows are also on Pluto TV but only in the USA so I can't access it.) Baron Spider obviously has a giant (giant!) spider monster. I can't think of any major archive warnings besides like, sometimes near-death or implied death.

You can also find this show on sites like tokuzilla and tokuzl, though this link has the show in colour (this isn't necessarily a bad thing, it's still the same show). Tokuzilla isn't working for me right now, but tokuzl is basically the same thing. (psst, this applies to everything. Except Ork, but that doesn't have region locks.)

Mirai Sentai Timeranger

This show is available on Shout TV, but I don’t know any legal way to watch it besides that. However, I did say legally…slightly less legally, it's on the Internet Archive here. Don't worry about that link having only 50 episodes (Shout has 51), episode 51 is a clipshow anniversary special. It's a cute special, but not required viewing for this exchange or the show in general.

Content Warnings: Genre-typical violence, (plenty of gun violence), but no major injuries or blood in the first 6 episodes. There is minor character death as a part of Yuuri’s backstory (in episode 5), and Ayase’s medical condition (explained in episode 10) is certainly concerning but I promise he doesn’t die. Content warnings for the rest of the show will be in the letter. There is also a major character death in the show itself, but it's not for a character who debuts early on. I'll put that under the spoiler warning.

Timeranger-specific content warnings (contains spoilers)

- Yuuri’s family, including a little sister, is killed by the main villain, not too graphic but it is onscreen. This is a focus of episode 5 but doesn’t come up too much outside of that.

- Ayase ~~my beloved~~ has a fictional medical condition that occasionally causes what is canonically stated at one point as arrhythmia (irregular heartbeat). It does come up pretty consistently in his focus episodes. Episodes 39-40 are specifically about the possibility of death.

- Episode 39-40 also has. Uh. Mentions of pandemics and vaccines and the like? Obviously it’s not covid but like. It is definitely about an epidemic.

- TimeFire, the sixth ranger, debuts in episode 27. He is a permanent Major Character Death.

- It doesn’t come up in the first few episodes, but Gien’s backstory. Uh, TV Tropes calls him a "Psychopathic Manchild", I think I’ll just leave it at that. His TV Tropes section has spoilers marked.

Power Rangers S.P.D.

This show is officially available for free on YouTube. The first few episodes are spent setting up the world and characters. It’s fun. My fave here is Bridge, his first focus episode is episode 6. Therefore, I’m only assigning you episodes 1, 2, and 6. Feel free to watch the episodes in between, or the entire show if you want, but I’m being biased and making sure that you meet my fave. (And the show is in Episodic Character Study Mode so it’s not like you’re missing anything.)

Content Warnings: Jack and Z are homeless and join SPD because the options are either join SPD or be arrested. Idk I feel like that probably squicks someone out. Besides that, Genre-typical violence (with guns, but they replaced the bullets with lasers so it’s appropriate for kids. No, they actually did that.)

Ork (2023)

This movie is 45 minutes long, and available for free on YouTube with subtitles in multiple languages, including English. It is an indie tokusatsu (as in, not made by Toei or a similar giant company) and was filmed entirely using an iPhone! It's about a high school student named Takumi getting a stone from a character called The Witch. The rock gives him vision of his friend Nozomi dying. Of course Takumi becomes Ork to stop that vision from happening, but their teacher Ryo Domon has a similar stone and wants to revive his wife. The rocks give them the ability to change into frog-like creatures called Ork (yellow) and Gowm (red). Guys fighting in order to save the girls they care about ensues.

Ork is a standalone movie and can be watched on its own. But if you want, there are two videos called 'witch story' that expand the backstory of the Witch (Warning for child abuse). They’re a total of 17:18, but I don’t want to require that you watch them and the movie can still be watched and understood without them. They consist of drawn pictures with voiceover (not animated, exactly- I'm not an artist, I don't know the words) and are less than 10 minutes each. If you're looking at the YouTube channel and are wondering what Ork's Room and Ork's Diary are, I haven't seen them and don't want the events of them in my gift.

I hope this letter finds you well and isn’t actually unsent (lol). A lot of prompts when I was coming up with ideas were more on the idea of them being unsent (or the recipient never actually seeing them), but they don’t have to be!

I typically DNW Script Format. Here, it’s allowed in epistolary sections. I’m requesting diary/journal entries for everyone, because I want to see their thoughts on things that they probably intentionally keep secret lol. Tatsuya must have a lot of thoughts he wants to write about. In pre-canon it could be about fights with his father and how he doesn’t wanna take over the company, during canon it could be anything as far as I’m concerned- people from 1000 years in the future are living with him and he has to keep that secret! But at least he could tell a journal, right? And post-canon, he probably thinks about them a lot/comes up with a lot of things he would want to say.

For Tatsuya & Ayase in particular, I rewatched the first few episodes recently and episode 2 lives rent free in my mind, especially Tatsuya asking what his future is like and Domon going "History doesn't record such minor details" and then Tatsuya later saying "You can't change the future, but you can still change your tomorrow" and that resonating with Ayase. Like, if Tatsuya is remembered for only one thing, it'll be Ayase remembering that moment (and maybe making the quote famous by sharing it online in the post-canon 31st century or something)

For Sion: He has internet access and literally doesn’t need to sleep except for once a year! In the year 2000 he probably doesn’t have/want social media, but he could absolutely spend his time on the internet, whether it’s learning things or talking to people (cautious to not reveal the "I’m an alien from the future" thing) or making his own website and posting basically whatever he wants on it!

For Domon/Honami: They literally fall in love via email. Like, that's canon. What do they talk about in their emails? How often do they chat? How romantic/flirty are they? (Note: Canonically, Domon uses Sion's email, but messages are written/sent by Domon)

Mmm angst. Yamato, like Tatsuya, probably has a lot of thoughts about his father that he probably can’t say out loud but can write about in his journal. And if he doesn’t, he’s into nature and animals, so he could write about like, a bird he saw that day or something. (Could also be funny to see both in one entry: "Dear Journal, I hate my Dad and don’t wanna live with him anymore. Also I went on a walk today and saw a bird, it was a- (insert rambling about birds)")

Alternatively, Yamato thinking about reaching out/reconnecting with his dad as he gets older but never actually doing so because it’s awkward/he’s nervous/his dad won’t respond anyway so what’s the point would be interesting.

For this show, there were some tags that I selected specifically envisioning Ayase being hurt/sick, and a few different ones selected for Sion being hurt/sick. Sion is canonically nonhuman and Ayase canonically has a medical condition that he explains to Tatsuya in episode 10. Stinger...edgy introverted scorpion boy eventually gets used to his team and also very protective of a human kid (Kotaro)...he's great. I like how Stinger hates his brother (Scorpio) and cares so much for his found family (Kotaro). (I don't hate his relationship with Champ, but don't view it romantically.)

I've also seen Super Sentai Strongest Battle, if you want to create something set post-canon and use that.

Ok look. I can explain both of these. You know the Humans are Space Orcs tumblr posts? About how humans think Earth/humans are boring and default but when you think about it we could be really weird. Now instead of aliens finding humans/human society weird, do you think other planets/parts of the universe would find the Earth itself to be weird? Or would Earth think that other planets/parts of the universe are weird because they don't have [known] life?

Jupiter&Pluto: Since we're already anthropomorphizing them, tall and small/size difference! The biggest&smallest planets! They don't need an age difference (unless you want) but I think it would be cute! Pluto also being a tiny ball of rage insistent that it's a planet would be fun. Jupiter has other things to worry about, like however you want to incorporate the Great Red Spot and moons.

Also because this idea popped into my head: When a planet completes an orbit around the Sun, another year passes on that planet. In anthropomorfic, would that mean they get another year older/have a birthday? (Poor Pluto, 1 Pluto Year=248 Earth Years)

I'm fine with the planets being given any gender (or lack of), race, pronouns, etc. The no genderbend/no unrequested gender/sexuality headcanons doesn't really apply to this request.

Ryouga is the dumbest ever (affectionate). I like him a lot and like him taking care of Mai and caring about Mikoto and just being nice to other people. He's so optimistic and nice and I'd love seeing him interact with anyone ("any in this exchange means any" yes I know, I have no character DNWs as long as it's platonic/gen.)

Mai is the most baby of all time I love her. She’s so baby. I think her interacting with Asuka and teaching him about Another Earth holidays, traditions, etc. would be fun. There's a lot Asuka doesn't know because he's not from here and there's a lot Mai is learning because she is 5 and she can teach him about this stuff.

Asuka deserves all the comfort. He also deserves to be happy with Mahoro. (Edit after watching Abaranger 20th: post-canon about him and Mahoro raising their 8 kids would be very cute but isn’t required.) I also like him learning about Another Earth culture and traditions and stuff.

Ichika is my trans daughter who deserves the world. Coming out is hard, and while I do want her to come out to her parents, I don't want that to be the focus of the story. I want her to be happy and perhaps lesbian (w/Hana) and just have a good time. Pre- or during-canon (before she's out to anyone) is okay but should still have a hopeful/happy ending.

Kamen Rider Gotchard

Kajiki is clearly developing memory issues from repeated mind wipes (like, he knows he's forgetting stuff but isn't sure what) so that's angst waiting to happen. If the alchemy and chemmies and that kind of stuff was presented to him as fictional, or like magic tricks and card games, would he be able to remember it? Or is that still not allowed because it's exposing a civilian to alchemy stuff?

Sabimaru is my fave in this show and he also deserves happiness. I think he has feelings for Renge, but hasn't realized it's a crush or is just too shy to tell anyone. He also really likes chemmies and I think him liking chemmies and playing with them is really cute. The time that Hotaro was on a school trip and left his chemmies with Sabimaru, he was probably ecstatic.

I'm assuming neither of us have seen the movie but seeing Rinne as a Rider would be very cool, even if for just 100 words. Thinking about how she met Unicon (also only in the movie) would be cool, even if it's not ultimately canon compliant.

Hopper1 is always welcome. Like Mick in my W request, Hopper1's pov of anyone or anything (including other chemmies) would be great.

Also if I can say a formatting thing about Sabimaru, I tend to put his dialogue using Isaac in italics (of course whispering/quiet talking is formatted as regular dialogue). Nobody else has written fic with Sabimaru yet, so I haven’t seen any other way of writing dialogue for Isaac, so I’m just saying what I do/prefer as a writer. I headcanon Philip as genderqueer and using he/she/they pronouns (he feels like the kind of character who doesn't care about their gender/how other people refer to her as long as they're polite). I headcanon both Philip and Shotaro as aspec (aroace for Philip, biromantic ace for Shotaro) and would prefer non-sexual content for them. Literal sleeping together is great though. Same with romantic physical affection like holding hands and kisses.

For Philip and Wakana...pre-canon is nice, the two of them literally running away together is nice, saving Wakana and letting her move into the detective agency would be interesting (yes that would probably be a disaster. But a fun disaster, y'know...)

Mahou Sentai Magiranger

I think Yamazaki and Kai dated, or at least went on a date at some point (the movie?) And if they didn't they definitely should. I don't know if they'd be in a long-term relationship/would still be together as of even Gokaiger, but they could try having a committed relationship, maybe considering marriage. Maybe Kai brings up marriage and Yamazaki is like "but I like MagiRed more..." not knowing that Kai=MagiRed. Even if they don't end up married, they should end on good terms and not hate each other.

Hikaru/Urara are literally canonically married, so seeing more of what they're like post-canon, on Magitopia or Earth, would be nice. It would be cute if frogs somehow became a symbol of their relationship, like frog plushies or something. Urara would hate it at first but like Hikaru would be like "it's just a stuffed animal" lol.

For Tsubasa and Urara, this is the introverted middle child request. (Houka is also a middle child, but she's definitely not an introvert). At any point in canon, I think it's fair to say that they would just quietly chill together while the chaos of having three other siblings goes on around them lol. The love language of quality time and parallel play and that kinda stuff. I also headcanon Tsubasa as aroace and think Urara would be the only one he trusts to keep it secret from the others.

For gender/sexuality headcanons, I think Marvelous doesn't identify with any labels. Like you could try to use labels and he just wouldn't care. He's Captain Marvelous, he's a space pirate, he's wanted by the Zangyack, that's about it. (And though I only referred to him with he/him pronouns, he probably wouldn't mind other pronouns as long as they're being polite/well-intentioned.) I also headcanon Luka as genderfluid (he/she/they pronouns) and I love Gokaiger 27 (Doc and Luka bodyswap episode). Regarding canon arranged marriages that involve Jom or Yai, just...pretend they don't exist. I want Jom and Yai to be with each other, not with girls. For other canon arranged marriages, mentioning them is fine, but as I didn't request them they shouldn't be focused on.

Regarding the Fandom-specific DNW, adding fantasy and magic and even technology that exists in to the canon time period is fine (cars existed in the 1920s, but nobody canonically has one/they're not common). Exploring the inherent time shenanigans that come with this series is definitely allowed. But don’t make the main story set in the 2020s with a focus on the modern world, technology, social media, etc. The main show is set in the 1920s and I like it there. You CAN write AUs that change the setting, like University AU, but it should still be set in the 1920s-ish.

They are gay and in love and soulmates??? regardless of not actually existing at the same time/only being together because of time shenanigans. I like Jom messing up and using words that don't exist yet and Yai noticing but not getting suspicious like "look at my cute boyfriend yeah he doesn't know what the capital is but who cares he's so cute" (until later on when Jom starts to disappear and the angst sets in)

I like romance and smut between Yai/Jom, if the smut is consensual and appropriate for the time period. Like, these characters are gay in the 1920s and share a house with other people and whatnot, they would have to be quiet and discreet. Episode 6 establishes a kinda 1920s-version-of-a-gay-bar and while they’re generally accepting I don’t know how acceptable sex in public would be there. Portraying Ritsu and Fumiya as romantic or platonic is allowed!

Ritsu is the cutest ever. Ritsu not knowing that he dated Fumiya and going "I have a really nice roommate :)" is very good. Ritsu fluff please uwu. (Ritsu, my beloved, there is only one bed. Why do you think there is only one bed.)

Fumiya will likely be necessary for plot reasons, but is not required to appear or have a prominent role. I’d like the gift to focus on Ritsu and his perspective, perhaps falling for Fumiya with no idea that they’re kinda exes. Romance and dating encouraged. Ritsu awkwardly coming out to his kinda-ex-boyfriend because he doesn’t remember coming out to him before (because amnesia) encouraged, that’s a really good (if angsty) idea.

Ritsu's birthday is canonically February 16th according to a calendar in the show.

Power Rangers SPD

Characters: Bridge, Boom, Kat (are all the characters in the tag set)

No romance, please!

These are my favourite SPD characters. I will take works focused on any or all of them. We are so close to 2025 and I’m very normal about that.

One thing I always think about for SPD is that the B-squad are 2000s kids- Bridge is canonically born in 2004 and Boom is…maybe born very late 90s? I’m not sure he has a canon age but he’s not that much older than Bridge. And pre-canon about the B-squad in general is always good. I have a headcanon that Bridge’s favourite Disney movie is Frozen, you don’t have to include/agree with that but like, think about things like that when writing them.

Kat Manx is not a 2000s kid. But exploring what she was doing pre-canon would be interesting too. You could also use Kat to explore how New Tech City formed and how nonhuman characters are treated in SPD's world in general.

In terms of holiday fic, it’s canon that Bridge is Jewish. I don't know if it's canon that my other requested characters celebrate Christmas or something, but still. Also, Boom and his parents would have THE dumbest holiday traditions and Boom would find them so childish (like, he’s an adult now they don’t have to do traditions from when he was little but his parents love him and ask him to come over for the holidays and make a gingerbread house while wearing the ugliest Christmas sweaters possible or something)

I headcanon Bridge as aromantic and love him in the most queerplatonic way possible. He is very good. I like the colour green. He’s green. He’s my fave.

I also headcanon both Boom and Bridge as using He/They/Xe pronouns (He/Him, They/Them, Xe/Xeir/Xem). I also legit headcanon Kat as Catgender for the most obvious reasons, but I don’t headcanon her as trans.

Basically, I use the label trans to mean characters don’t identify with what they were assigned at birth. As Kat isn’t human, and we don’t know how her species’ society works, technically we don’t know if she was assigned female at birth. So I headcanon Kat, and many other nonhumans, as "not male or female but not necessarily trans or nonbinary" if their society doesn’t have the same gender binary our human world does.

I also use the label trans for human characters sometimes, and use it the way you probably expect, but I very rarely use the label trans for human characters, because…like, I don’t use that label for myself? I’m genderqueer, and to me genderqueer is a more broad umbrella term than trans, so I tend to headcanon characters with labels I use or relate to more, and the label trans just doesn’t end up used as often.

Kamen Rider Gotchard

These are my children I love them all. You can include all of them, or just Hotaro&Rinne and Renge&Sabimaru in pairs (Gen, not romance please). Also, feel free to involve (friendly) Chemmies, especially Hopper1, but that’s not required.

Hotaro is a sweetheart he’s just a little guy I love him I love his (kinda weird) cooking. Him making food for the others, holiday-related or not, would be fun. Rinne might disagree. (Though make the food…like, it can be whatever, and doesn’t have to be holiday-related, but make it taste at least a little good. If it’s made with love that means it tastes good, right?)

Sabimaru&Renge don’t have much focus yet (as of sign-ups) but they’re those characters that got 2 seconds of screentime and consumed my brain. They appear for more than just a few seconds in episode 5 and become more prominent as of episode 7. (Note: episode 8 airs after sign-ups close) They definitely knew each other pre-canon (like, maybe not since childhood, but at least since a previous year of high school) and it could be interesting to explore how they met and what their relationship was like early on.

I haven’t come up with any sexuality or gender headcanons for Gotchard yet so like, if you have a gender or sexuality headcanon and want to include it you can ask, but I might not share that headcanon/might not want it in my fic.

Kamen Rider Zi-O

Characters: Heure, Woz

No romance, please!

I want platonic Heure&Woz. Whether that's fluffy, angsty, whatever. Other Zi-O characters are allowed to exist/be mentioned but shouldn't be the focus of the story.

They are both so good and I want to see them together. They have such different views on Ohma Zi-O I’m interested in what they think of each other (you could say that about Woz and any Time Jacker, but I’m specifying Heure because he’s my fave and there was a limited amount of nominations.)

Also these are just my two favourite people from Zi-O in general. Woz is a cute boy with a book, what more can I say. Heure is a baby I need to protect him, what more can I say. (But seriously, if you go with hurt/comfort for this pair either make Woz the hurt one or make Heure not get hurt too badly.)

Zi-O episode 16 is canonically set at Christmas, and as of episode 17 it's officially the new year.

Heure and Woz are from the future (2068) and I’d like to think that being LGBTQ+ is much more normalized by then. I headcanon Woz as agender and aroace. I don’t want to dump all the neopronouns on you so I’ll go with He/They/Ze, (He/Him, They/Them, Ze/Zem/Zeir) whether you alternate between them or just use one set is up to you. For Heure, I headcanon him as nonbinary and using He/They/Ve pronouns (He/Him, They/Them, Ve/Vir/Virs). Heure is also canonically gay I don’t make the rules on that part. (I’m not requesting shipfic, though.)

ALSO, when I say I like pre-canon and also these characters are from 2068, yes I absolutely mean "I wanna see what they were doing in 2068, before they went back in time".

Kaizoku Sentai Gokaiger

Romance Allowed: OT6 (Marvelous/Ahim/Joe/Doc/Luka/Gai) see below for sub-pairings I especially like but all combinations of Gokaigers are allowed. Kinky smut is also allowed for this request, I'll list smut-specific likes and DNWs at the end.

I am not immune to the Gokaiger OT6. My favourite sub-pairs are Marvelous/Any Gokaiger, Gai/Luka and Ahim/Luka if you want to focus on them. I am okay with any combination of the OT6, including ones with Joe and/or Doc and I (obviously) like gen, but the sign-up forced me to pick my fave characters or go with Any, and I didn’t want to select Any.

Note regarding "DNW: Unrequested Romantic Relationships" for this request: any combination of the OT6 is allowed, including ones with Joe and/or Doc, but I still kept that DNW in my request just in case because I don’t want shipping outside of the OT6, like with Jealoushto (who’s also in the tagset).

Anyways, my main reason for this request is because the Gokaigers are aliens/not human except Gai, and I like the idea of exploring cultural differences, love languages, different writing systems, etc. Xenobiology is also allowed, as long as it doesn't break any DNWs, smut-specific or otherwise. (Although, now that I've said that, I'm wondering if the Gokaigers can get covid...don't make it about covid, but general sickfic can be good if you're now thinking about that too.)

Gokaiger Gender/Sexuality/Pronoun headcanons

First of all, I don’t think Captain Marvelous identifies with any labels. Like, maybe I could come up with specific labels, but he wouldn’t actually describe himself as any of those words. If you asked, he’d just say he’s Captain Marvelous.

I really like the Gokaiger body swap episode (episode 27). I liked seeing Luka (in Doc’s body) getting to experiment with her presentation. I headcanon Luka as queer and using She/He/They pronouns (She/Her, He/Him, They/Them).

For Ahim, I headcanon her as demi-panromantic asexual, and using the pronouns Ae/Aer/Aers in addition to She/Her, they just fit aer so well imo.

I headcanon Gai as queer and using He/She pronouns (He/Him, She/Her).

I forget when but I had this realization that Naki and Little Assassin never interacted. But like, they didn't.
So I would like a story where Jin (probably adult-type Jin) says he misses Little Assassin and Naki is like "who's that". Can be any tone as long as it has a happy/uplifting ending. Don't make it an outright fix-it where Little Assassin comes back to life/never died, but you can explore what interactions would be like between Naki and Little Assassin (like a dream sequence?)
Holidays can be involved but aren't required. They/Them pronouns for Naki are required (in fic).

Kyuranger holidays! They can be completely different from human holidays or can be similar. Some of the aliens probably hibernate (like Stinger and Garu). Spada can cook holiday dinner/desserts for everyone. Lucky would want to celebrate all the holidays in some way. Would Naga's planets have holidays? Keep it fluffy.

Pre-canon of the Zyumen? We know about their families a little, but don't know much else. The Zyuohgers themselves are all around the same age too, so they probably knew each other as kids/teens. Or just worldbuilding for Zyuland in general!

Shapeshifter

They already have civilian powers, shapeshifting is just like that, but more common. So they can all do the abilities they have (Jack phases through objects, Bridge reads auras, Z self-replicates) they can also shapeshift. (Z’s clones can also shapeshift if she can.)

Foster Kids

All three as foster kids with different family/parental reasons (as to why they’re in foster care).

Jack and Z living together in the same home but then being separated (angst!).

Bridge just being a weird foster kid. (He’s weird.)

Romance

Crushes and general romance allowed between Z and Jack, but keep it at T (maximum) and don’t make it the focus of the fic.
