Ride Kamens Traits

From May 13-17 2024, the Ride Kamens twitter/X account released profiles written/made by the Agent (player character) about each of the Kamen Riders. On those profiles, there's a lot of information (and thank you ride_kamens_en for translating that info!) including a little notecard with 5 traits: Calm, Careful, Leadership, Curious, Hates Losing. Then there is a yes/no option, with something circled for each trait.

Why am I posting this? To summarize it in an easy-to-find place, I suppose. But also perhaps for my own musings and observations after. It is May 22, 2024. The game comes out next week.

Observations/commentary under the cut:

• Everyone hates losing! Except for Shion, who's a firm No, and Saigo and Jo, who's thoughts are unclear/nuanced/caused the Agent to circle the dot in the middle.
  • Speaking of dots in the middle, Rui and Jo are both maybe calm.
  • They also said Soun is calm but noted that he's "scary when angered".
• Haruma and Soun's answers are both all yes.
• Leadership intrigued me! The only people with Yes circled are Haruma, Shion, Matsunosuke, Soun, and Taiten.
  • The characters designated as "the leader" of their teams are Soun and...Rui, who doesn't have good leadership, apparently, and Taiten is older so it makes sense he's the leader of Tower Emblem.
  • Matsunosuke is certainly the most responsible of the Madguys.
  • I couldn't find anything stating one member of Justice Ride was the leader, but Jigen is the most responsible.
• Koki's answers are almost all no, except he hates losing. Nobody else has these exact answers.
• Most people are curious. The ones marked not curious are Matsunosuke, Rui, Koki, and Taiten.
  • These characters are older (Koki is youngest of this group at 25), and so it makes sense that they're not curious.
  • However, the oldest Rider is Jo, and he is curious.
• Most people are careful. The ones who aren't are:
  • Saigo and Kyosuke
    • teenagers
    • Wait, Saigo is...not careful? This intrigues me because I want to know how the Agent came to that conclusion.
  • Narushi and Q
    • They're also not calm, so probably impulsive?
  • Shizuru
    • drinks a lot and probably more reckless as a result?
  • 3/4ths of Wisdom Thinks
    • I assume Soun is making sure they don't all die.
• Kyosuke and Narushi have the exact same traits (not calm, not careful, not a leader, curious, hates losing). They hate each other. I love that for them.
• Uryu is not a leader and is more curious, probably because he's young, but I like to think his other traits are caused by him looking up to/copying Taiten.
